I am very pleased with Martinez...now I have a sprinter who also can ride over mountains. Perfect combination.

very good climbing team, and it is worth mentioning that pretty much all the good Columbian, Cuban etc. in the db are very old

Loteria de Boyaca(Colombia) and Loteria del tachira Banfoandes(venezuela)

Lotería means Lottery (duuh). they're sponsored by their respective local lotteries, so it's normal the abundance of teams with that name (think Lotto) |

Added also road captain-veteran Ochoa in line up to keep up fighting spirit at season start and also fresh signing Martinez to improve he's form.
We have 14. stages to run..this is first. Warming up city tour.
Gonzales Barrera is first rider who trying decide race with early breakaway...this is gonna hurt at the end.
And here they come for mass sprint...Fabio Borghesi (Selle Italia) leading a sprint. My team got Giovanny Torres Castro and also fresh name Damian Martínez in main group.
Borghesi takes a win...I expect lot of trouble for Italian-Columbian team.Castro finishing 3.rd. Decent start.

Stage 2 (TTT)
Nice long 47km TTT stage...
At first comes Coordinadora...5.th +1'25
Columbia es Pasion team +1'31 and 6th.
Looks good..15km. to go and after 2.nd. check point team was already 2.nd...and all team still together. Then I made a mistake..started to push them ride even harder...3 riders at 7 started to suffers. At the end they cant keep up the rythm...that means I have one rider less in the line.5.th +1'25 (good that hasn't done more damage).
Loteria del Dachira riding well..they almost caching cuba team...and will rewarded by first place and leader jersey.

Stage 3
Carora - Valera
Another flat..with lightly uphill finish.
Breakaway riders...Alvarez Mesa, Landaeta, Serna and Gutierrez. They worked well together..peloton needed to work hard to catch them.
Tour leader Franklin Chacon...beautiful orange he had. I'd like to have it.
Prepearing for mass sprint..Torres Castro and Martinez both is in perfect position.
Juan Esteban Arango leading but polka-dot jersey Fabio Borghesi closing fast. My sprint power specialy Martinez is still out of shape to keep up..on that uphill.
Esteban Arango wins this battle.
