It's a good jersey, it just shouldn't exist. |

It's not as good as the previous jersey, which was instantly recognisable as France.

Agreed. I think any country that has a flag that is easily portable to a jersey should use that (minus Italy, with its Blue colors for sports). The difficult ones are countries like the US, the stars and stripes are hard to make into a jersey, which leads to ugly things like this:
(it's cross, but that was the road and track jersey)

It's possible i think to incorporae the stars and stripes into the jersey, admittedly it's one of the more complicated designs.
I actually think the GB jersey is very nice, it's the flag but has curves in it to make it look slightly more modern. I know there are people who hate it, but hey, you can see it from overhead shots in the Worlds RR.

Thomas/Clancy/Burke/Swift set a time close to the time of Thomas/Clancy/Burke/Tennant. So the presumable line up of Clancy/Burke/Swift/Tennant should have no problemss
that was almost the team they sent to melbourne (no swift), and they were beaten by australia. now, swift will add a fair bit to that lineup, but i think bobridge adds more to the australian team |

The melbourne team included Fenn, who was making his World Cup debut. And Australia didnt win by that much. Swift is much better than Fenn - and furthermore, theyll all be in top form now

australia had two riders on debut - hepburn and durbridge. durbridge missed selection and will be replaced by bobridge, who is much better than durbridge, and everyone will be in top form now...its the world championships. |

Lets just hope its an Aus vs GB final so if we actually do win it will be a huge upset and we can make it our new avatars. And if GB win we can just say "well of course, with that team you would expect them to win"!!
Anyway we may as well wait for the qualifying at least to judge who is in form or not. |

Germany are surprise favourites, they won the overall World Cup yes, but not any of the actual events. China I'm less surprised by, since I thought they would be 5th.
