BMC have not been invited to Dwars door Vlaanderen, instead the organisers have invited known northern classics specialists Xacobeo

I thought the Murcia organizers had lost their minds. Clearly they're not alone... |

Dwars door Vlaanderen didnt invite BMC cause they were going to start with a '3rd rate' team there. (without Ballan, Kroon, Hincapie, Burghardt, etc)
They think that Xacobeo will be more motivated to race there. |

Yes, Xacobeo's first rate line-up is better .... not.

Zdenek Stybar has offers from Sunweb-Projob, Landbouwkrediet and also....Quick.Step. He says that Quick.Step offers him place in its Classics roster for next year....
And if Fidea doesn't improve its contract conditions he will leave.

Apparently Playitas offered to put him up for a week in one of their resorts so he could start rehabilitation in a warm environment, rather than the Isle of Man. |

Good to hear Bellis is leaving hospital soon.
And lol @ Xacobeo in Dwars door Vlaanderen. WTF? I may be missing someone, but Xacobeo hasn't any rider capable of doing something there, have they? |

Gazzetta has a bombshell.
According to them, The Schleck brothers (as I've been saying for years) have told Riis to f*** off with a contract extension. That's not the bombshell, anyone with a brain and no bias could see that a mile off. They have no loyalty and don't care about anyone but themselves.
The bombshell is.....they want to start their own team along with Kim Andersen and.....Marc Biver. Yes, the guy behind the doping at Astana in the Klöden and Vino years.
Gazzetta also says Cancellara is their first target in terms of signings.
Also that Lampre is after Pellizotti.
EDIT: One thing does surprise me, though. The schlecks not going to Radioshack. Then again Armstrong only wanted Andy if Frank f***ed off somewhere else. And since they don't want to split up...

Hm, I was under the impression they both wanted to stay based on this old article: https://sporten.tv...35436.html
"We will continue to attack, even if we die in the process."

Well.. If that's true I defiantly don't believe in a Team "Saxo Bank" in 2011... If the 3 only guys who're able to win something leave them, Bjarne Riis will go down - very hard!
