I have a question:
Gaining in Level 3
Grand Tours/Monuments = 1 xp per race day
ProTour = 2 xp per race day
Continental = 1 xp per race day
Gaining in Level 4
Grand Tours/Monuments = 2 xp per race day
ProTour = 1 xp per race day
Continental = 0 xp per race day
I have a rider loaned. Thomas Vedel Kvist fx.
He is level 3, 50xp.
So the first 25 races he should race is shit races and stay out of monuments to get into level 4, and after that he should race GT's and monuments to reach max?
Or doesn't it matter in which way you let the rider race?

Basically what Ill do is look at the season as a whole.
First Id see if the rider took part in Avenir. Kvist is too old for that, but anyone who rides it gets 20 xp to start off.
Then Id see how much of each category a rider rides. So lets say Kvist does a GrandTour, 2 monuments and then 80 other race days.
Id first take the 25 'other' race days so he would become level 4.
Then, as there is only level 4 to max, the rest just gets added on. So (21*2)+(4*2)+(55*1) = 105 xp
And so he maxes

Alright thanks... I'll try to adapt the racedays so I'll both benefit my own team and max out the riders then :-)

just for clarification, could you pls confirm or explain where do I make mistake?
John Degenkolb - LVL 1 / 0 EXP - 85 race days
1) 34 CT race days 34x3 = 102 and move to LVL 2 / 2 EXP
2) 49 CT race days 49x2 = 98 and move to LVL 3 / 0 EXP
3) 2 CT race days (up to 85) 2x1 = 2
8 PT race days (due to WC) 8x2 = 16
So if I count well, he would finish season in LVL 3 / 18 EXP, am I right?
BUT: there is Criterium as well...example: Degenkolb will join 5 races, giving himself another 10 XP...my question is: in which moment will you count these extra points as we can get two different final results?
LVL 3 / 18 EXP + extra 10 = LVL 3 / 28 EXP
or
1) 5 Criterium race days 5x2 = 10
30 CT race days 30x3 = 90 and move to LVL 2 / 0 EXP
2) 50 CT race days 50x2 = 100 and move to LVL 3 / 0 EXP
3) 5 CT race days (up to 85) 5x1 = 5
8 PT race days (due to WC) 8x2 = 16 and we are on LVL 3 / 21 EXP

and one more: I´ve just downloaded statgain file and am a bit confused...how many times will each rider gain skill points, 3 or 4 times?
