Ahh Rollins's my 3rd favourite Behind 1.Hesjedal and 2.Hincapie. But truthfully I just recently started liking Hincapie a lot. Back to the topic of your team I have to say that Presentation is very good and I like the bio (if you like) on each rider.

EL AL - IDF Cycling Team Presentation Part IV
The final section of the team presentation covers our ten Israeli riders, all of whom will be filling in a domestiques for the season, mainly focusing on breakaways and helping out in the pack:
Dor Dviri
The only Israeli rider who rode last season with a professional contract, Dviri joins on a transfer from Olympus. He should be useful helping out in the pack and as a depth rider on TTT's.
Maxim Burlutsky
From Free Agency, Burlutsky will be most at use in the hills, where he can actively support our team leaders.
Amos Wolff
Wolff will be at his best on the flats, helping the team out with chases and protection.
Nizan Margalit
Another rider who will be at his best on the flats, Margalit should be a solid bottle carrier over the course of the year.
Shlomi Haimy
One of the more inexperienced Israeli's, Haimy won't be of much use to the team, on any terrain. His goal this year is to gain racing experience, so that he can become a solid member of the team in the following years.
Daniel Eliad
Eliad is on the more inexperienced side, but has already shown great promise on climbs. That is where he will be most useful over the course of the year, and look out for him in the future.
Nadi Hortig
Hortig is the strongest climber out of our Israeli contingent, and although he does not show the long term promise of Eliad, he is already strong enough to be an important support piece of our climbing attack.
Noam Cohen
Although he also comes in on the inexperienced side, Cohen has shown immense potential, especially in the sprints, look out for him in the future, as he has behind the scenes shown he has what it takes to become a world-class finisher in the future.
Idan Shapira
One of our three Israelis with practically no experience, Shapira impressed us with solid potential on some large climbs, staying with Eliad and Hortig during a small training camp near Tel Aviv. Expect him to be dangerous in the future, but for now he will gain experience as a bottle carrier.
Tomer Bucher
Bucher similarly has no experience, and similarly impressed us with solid potential with his climbing. He will ride a lot with Shapira, as we hope the two will gain a lot of knowledge over the year, and become stronger riders for the future.
And that finishes all twenty-five riders for EL AL - IDF Cycling in 2011. Expect a preliminary racing schedule to follow soon.

EL AL Bulletin #5 - The Calendar
EL AL - IDF has completed our race calendar for the 2011 season. We are focusing primarily on the Asia Tour and the African Tour, where we are riding every race. However, we are also riding a majority of the Americas Tour and a few (primarily French) European races. However, out attempt to enter the Tour of Ireland was shot down, after the organizers felt we were not committed enough to the British Isles Tour to enter the race (we applied to no other British Isles C1 races). As such, our goals have changed from a top result in Ireland to a top result in the Presidential Tour of Turkey. |

EL AL Bulletin #6 - The Start
EL AL - IDF started their season off strongly today, with a 4th from Gregory Rast and a 6th from Sylvain Calzati at the Bloemfontein Classic.
Calzati and Rast finish just outside the podium in the group sprint.
The team sits in third place in the standings (granted after one race), which we hope will be pretty close to where we finish this year. To accomplish that we will need a continuation to this great start to the season, as we have a busy schedule during January.

EL AL Bulletin #7 - More African Action
EL AL continued its solid start to the season with some good results at La Tropical Amissa Bongo. Gregory Rast took 10th and Idan Shapira took 24th, both scoring points for us, as did our top five riders in general, as we took third in the team competition. Most importantly however, we took our first jersey of the year, as Dor Dviri won the KOM competition.
Dviri on the podium. |

EL AL Bulletin #8 - Racing in Oceania
EL AL's January continued with three races down in Oceania. The Down Under Classic and Tour Down Under both took place in Australia, and were uneventful for us, with Feillu's 19th and Rast's 24th at the TDU all we had to show for. The third race though, the Tour of Wellington, was a completely different story. It looked like it was going to be a debacle for us, as our leader and race favorite Ignas Konovalovas dropped three minutes after crashing on the first stage. However, our other riders, most notably Romain Sicard, stepped up to fill the gap. We finished the race with both a 2nd and 3rd place on different stages, a number of stage top 5's, a day in the leaders shirt, 3rd, 14th, 19th, 20th, and 24th overall, plus the team prize.
Sicard, Feillu, and Konovalovas pull off a 2-4-5 on stage 2
Our next race is the currently underway Tour de San Luis, which will have a report as soon as it concludes. |

EL AL Announces Departures:
With the season coming down to a close, EL AL - IDF has informed those riders who will not be receiving a contract for next season. For the purpose of allowing other teams to be able to plan their interest, the team management has decided to release the list.
Riders Not Returning:
Rahsaan Bahati
Charles Dionne
Yukihiro Doi
Mike Friedman
Kazuo Inoue
Segei Lagutin
Depending on wage demands and other aspects of the signing phase, this list could very well be updated, and is by no means exhaustive. |

Sensible riders to get rid of, but will the team remain of Israeli nationality?
