Stage 5.
With 2 KOM sprints on the last kms,if peloton makes strong pace it can make some "destruction" on it,if there are attacks maybe can lead to a win,lets see what happens.
Today was the day for our australian rider Walker to have a go and the first int.sprint of the day he manages the 1st place,followed by Isasi(EUS) and Kireyev(AST).
At the 2nd int.sprint is Kristoff(BMC) in 1st,then Mandri(ALM) and Walker(FOT).
We reach the top of the 1st KOM sprint and Muravyev(SHAK) comes 1st with an attack....
...and behind him,Bobridge(GAR) is 2nd and Mandri(ALM) 3rd.
Peloton was starting the climb with Rabobank riders pushing hard.
Downhill,some crashes and the most known rider is Pozzato,Riblon crashes too.
Stage 6.
Last stage of the Tour of Australia,my wish is to finish with a win,let´s see if it is possible.
The only E1G builded was quickly catched by peloton,Rabobank and Liquigas made mostly all work..
..until the end,peloton rolled with fast pace and so the sprint starts...
..with Cardoso in good position,Freire and Bennati from outside...
..win is not possible,can Cardoso get the 3rd place?
Yes he can,Cardoso takes 3rd place ahead of Bennati(LIQ) and Freire(RAB)

Well,our first race of the year is done,Australia was great,we had a very positive start and hope it continues.I would had won instead but was not possible,Cardoso was great,our leader BenÃtez done all possible to make the best result and achieve a final 7th place,with so many great sprinters it´s a great result for him.Unfortunally with that flat tyre,Cardoso lost his chances to finish in a better position,he deserved that.
You know its easier to win the sprint/points jersey if you send an good strong sprinter in a breakaway every day to take all the int.sprint instead of the final sprint. Then you get 12 points instead of the 8 you get at the finish line.

Yes i know but i don´t want to send always the same guy every stage,i personnally don´t like to play like that.Even for the KOM i try to avoid that,like i don´t like to attack on downhill,only when others attack,wich can happen.

Here we are for our 2nd race this month wich will be the last one too in January.This is the team that will compete in Italy,i hope it goes well for us.
1st stage:
Sorry,but have no screen from 1st int.sprint.
3 riders attacked on the begining of the stage,they are,Bakelants(OLO),Steensen(SAX) and Ovechkin(AST),this was the order too wich they passed 1st int.sprint.
Only Kom sprint on this stage,Ovechkin(AST) is 1st,Steensen(SAX)2nd and Bakelants(OLO) 3rd..
..back at the peloton,the team AndroniGiocattoli takes the front of peloton and stays there until the end,always controlling the gap.
We reach the 2nd int.sprint of the day with Bakelants(OLO) in 1st,followed by Ovechkin(AST) in 2nd and Steensen(SAX) taking the 3rd place...
The peloton was with a quicker pace now and that caused a fall from some riders,one of them was Velits(THR),he is out from GC.
The 3 amigos in E1 manage to reach the 3rd and last int.sprint of the day,with Bakelants(OLO) again in 1st,Steensen(SAX) takes 2nd and Ovechkin(AST) is 3rd....
...meanwhile at the peloton,CarmioDoro and Cofidis joins Androni at the front and E1 will be catched with 25 kms to finish...
..this 25 kms go quick and the final sprint is started,with Duque(COF) coming very quick from the right,Pedersen(FOT) isn´t well posicioned..
..and Duque(COF) wins,with Roelandts(OLO) in 2nd and Gasparotto(AST) stays with the 3rd place...
Yesterday we were too passiv,today i decided to give green light to our young rider Corti,4 riders attacked and Corti went with them.First int.sprint is Wrolich(MIL) who takes the 6 pts bonus,Veuchelen(VAC) is 2nd and Corti(FOT)3rd.
Peloton takes a calm ride and when they pass over the 1st sprint,the gap is already over 6min..
2nd int.sprint,Wrolich(MIL)again 1st,Corti gets 2nd and Malori(LAM)3rd...
..and peloton shows no worry with the boys in front,they have over 8min. gap.
Finally Corti manages to pass 1st on the last int.sprint,Malori(LAM) is 2nd,Wrolich(MIL)3rd.
With the feeling that E1 is getting dangerous,peloton start to ride with fast pace....
..and most of the work is made by race leader team,Cofidis..
..always nice to watch..
E1 manages to get the top of the 1st KOM sprint with a small gap and behind them....
...Voeckler(BBOX) attacks...
Hoogerland(VAC) and Acosta(GCE) go after him...
They build small gap to the peloton..
E1 downhill..
E2 downhill..
Peloton downhill..
Voeckler group is very fast.....
..and joins the E1,team Vacansoil with 2 riders in front,maybe a team tactic..
..but even that can hold Voeckler to get away,only Niermann(RAB) can respond...
..Cofidis gets a prescious help from Androni team...
..and Corti&Co don´t have a chance...
..just like Voeckler get caught before last hill.
Uphill,one team,one man,Scarponi makes a lot of damage on the peloton..
..and almost on top,Leukemans strikes and take 6pts,L.L.Sánchez(GCE) takes 4pts and Bertolini(AND) 2pts.
Footon has 3 riders that survived this punishment...race leader too..
Downhill makes a group in front,main contenders are in..
5kms,Pedersen is behind Duque,Duque on Carrera´s wheel...
Sprint gets started,Pedersen still there...
.. L.L.Sánchez comes very fast from the left...
..but Sánchez looses power..
...Carrara,Duque and Pedersen get away from the rest...
Pedersen can´t get out from behind...
..and Duque wins his 2nd stage in a row,Carrara is 2nd and Pedersen 3rd.
