Today will be the last chance from somebody out of the top 10 to shake the overall GC
Today we have a clear strategy protect Dalla'Antonia and hope that the peleton will be calm and we can keep our good position in the GC
Our daily break , today was a seven man break , the biggest GC threat Brutt (15th)
On the first passage of Willunga Hill , De haes and Stroetinga couldn't keep the pace with the other 5
Quickly the break went from 5 down to 4 , because of Le Lay tumble.
Honig from Aqua Sapone was the last men standing from the break , and he was caught under the 10 km banner.
Marcato from Vacansoleil opened the spring but Boonen ,Hagen and Farrar where all near.
Another stage win for Hagen , Tdu is almost certain that will go to Hagen , he had quite an impressive performance here in Australia.

Today will be a flat speedy circuit , so whe need to be careful all the time a flat tire or a crash could happen anytime.
Graeme Brown the aussie sprinter from Rabo was the first to tast the tarmac of Adelaide and from what he did this stage he didnt liked it , he finished last.
MASSACRE on the road , boonen and hagen the nr 1 and 3 in the GC are DOWN , here is our opening for a top 3 GC in TDU this year
Aproximative 70 riders left in the peleton the biggest danger for us is Taylor Farrar
Goddaert opens the sprint with Vaiktus and Goss very close to him , the big favourites for this sprint Chicchi and Farrar are too far to even remotely make a statement to trio in front.
Last corner Vaiktus has a very very slight advantage the final straight will decide the winner
Vaiktus wins the last stage of Tdu Goss 2nd and Goddaert who faded on the last meters 3rd.
But what happens to the GC???

We have put a rather young and experimental team for this competition with finneto on a good fitness and with the young guns and belloti he will try to make a top 10 in the GC it will be hard but not impossible
Edited by Setzel on 14-02-2010 17:13
For this stage we will try with finneto having 70 fitness rather then sabatini who has 60.
A group of 10 including Peter Sagan where the first escapees of Giro della Calabria.
They where caught with less then 20 km to go , so the sprinters started to move ahead in front of the peleton a lot of teams want to have a shot in this stage .
After a lot of movement 4 teams managed to get a decent sprint train , Columbia , Team Milram , Androni Giocatoli and Ceramica Flamina , we decided to follow Columbia's train sprint .
The sprint started and a lot of chaos with him in the last kilometer a lot of pretenders for the win , among them was our sprinter Finneto
Finneto managed to get a narrow win against Ginnani , we can clearly see that this tour has a lack of sprinters , so it's still a big question what to do 2 stage wins or try and survive the 2 hilly stages and make a top 10 in GC

A long hard stage , suited more for puncheurs then pure sprinters , Finneto will try and keep his 1st position in GC
The stage had no escapees so on the last climb vacansoleil with ljeukemans set a high pace stretching the peleton , the pure sprinters will not be at the sprint for sure , a chance again for finneto maybe.
Marcato is leading for Westra , he is clearly too tired to sprint , Sabatini too , Ginnani is in a good spot waiting for the sprint , it will be a interesting sprint
Westra went for the win he is too strong for this pack today.
We have send here Robert Kiserlovski as team leader , but he is just starting his season , so Dall'Antonia will be our hope for a result here in France.

Good luck for Marseille.Try to be a little quicker in reaction on the sprints...
I really can't with finneto just hope he can get a good wheel and try to pass them in the last meters , he is more a puncheur than a sprinter i'm lucky he has good fitness , but in may-june when everybody will have atleast ok fitness he will be useless.
