The weather was nice about 2 weeks ago when I went on a hockey trip to Bismark and thenalmost got stuck at the border on the waty back cause the highways were closed but somehow got home. On the bus we could see about 10ft ahead for driving. I'am happy to be alive right now. And the day we got back it was really cold.

Hey KenL, I have a small favor to ask  The team is a team made by the "Custom team" funktion and therefore it is not in the DB  How do I add it to my savegame? Do I just have to open the savegame under database in my dokuments and then do the guide are something else? Thanks |

im pretty sure that when you make a new team a new folder in Cm textures should apear (or be there from the begining) and it should look like c00 then you will have all your same things as every other team like c00_maillot eg. and then overwrite the oldstuff with the new.
Not 100% sure since i don't have 09 but hopefully it works.

If you want to use the equipment, you need to either 1) add it to the DB, or 2) overwrite existing stuff. |

KenL, you worte that it's easy to use the Cleditor in PCM09. Do there exist a version for PCM09 and where I can find it? or can I just use the version that I find in downloads for PCM08? |

You can't use the version that's available for PCM08, but neither will I recommend the one made for PCM09. There's a reason why it hasn't been uploaded to PCM.daily
It simply hasn't been updated 'well enough'. It doesn't take the DB changes from PCM08 to PCM09 into account. |

I am surprised to hear this? I have been using the CLeditor 1.3 for adding teams and cyclists for PCM09 since it came out and have never had a crash or compatibility issue yet. I am always editing the teams and cyclists with this program and the more complex parts (frames,wheels, and helmets) with the Full editor V4.
So again, surprised that you feel "It simply hasn't been updated 'well enough'".
It's been a while since I last tried, but from what I remember, none of the DB changes had been incorporated. E.g., there's a new calendar column in DYN_team which isn't in CLE-ditor.
Anyway, will have a look again. |
