Crappy result... Especially since I gave up the chance of getting a good result with Fothen in Germany just so he could ride the Vuelta a Asturias and challenge for the win since it was a sponsor goal...
This now means that I have achieved one goal, failed two and am on the way to failing a 3rd one... My budget is gonna be craptacular next year...
Decent enough for Accumalux, two in the Top 10, but a Top 5 wouldve been nice. Still, Intxausti will get some decent pts from winning the Points competition and being 2nd best Young Rider. Perhaps the points jersey can be consolation for the fact he is the highest ranked rider without any wins Thats his season done now.

Accumalux pass Rabobank, and Philips overtake SIC Radical in the only position changes - but the gaps have still been affected by the past 2 races, including Wikipedia pulling 65 point back on La Gazetta from Seine and Asturias.
In the 5 team battle for 3rd, Accumalux did best with 489, just ahead of Festina with 469 and then thanks to Arroyo, Domina Vacanze with 430. Just 325 puts the pressure on Lipton, while Rabobank are starting to slip away with only 239.
Allan Davis helps American Suzuki pulls 53 further points away from Eurosport. That makes the American team 267 ahead of Eurosport - and only 302 behind Team B&O. British Airways are continuing to score little, and it is possible that even a potential victory with Devolder in the Tour of Northern Europe would not be enough to save them.
Yeah, but I expected the gap in points to be bigger.
Losing 65 points in these races isn't bad at all.
couldn't agree more. as good a result 3rd is, its not enough to realistically draw even. Unless the two other stage races pay off well with Spilak, I think Gazzeta nearly have this wrapped up.

4th, 10th and 16th is pretty damn good here...
How can you outscore me SN? This good here and 2nd in Seine? You must have some amazing stage results...
You had 4,10,16 in GC, I had 6,8,14. (That alone gives me slightly more pts than you)
Contador took 2nd on a stage, as did Intxausti, both Schleck and Intxausti also had a set of 4th and 5th placed, Intxausti won the points classification, and was 2nd in the Young riders classification.
Did you not read the race results beyond final GC positions of your riders??
Asturias totals: Accumalux 387, Festina 310
Seine totals: Accumalux 102, Festina 159

Well it wasn't an accusation of anything. It was just me who couldn't understand that any team outperformed what my team did, as I'm overjoyed with the results - It all came down to the fact that I though that Seine gave quite a lot more points
