A queen stage in a major stage race and I had 2 guys finish only a minute or so down? Success!

Meh. Really crappy time to not chase down the breakaway, could have been a 1-2 otherwise. But nice to see that there weren't any large gaps on the queen stage, looking good for Trofimov so far.

I wonder what makes Gasparotto win so much. His flat stat, his hill stat or Rovira's lead-out? |

I guess he's just having one of those races. He only had 1 win from his 34 race days used prior to this

Finishing top ten would be a great success for my team, especially at this race with this good of a field. A stage win would be nice too.

I'll race the time-trial now and, hopefully, I'll post it tonight. I'll be happy with a top 5 in the GC. |

I think this is the worst result of the season for me in terms of my leaders. On the other hand, I have had success in the breaks and a sprint finish so it hasn't been truly awful.

That was meant to be included in the breakaway success, but yes that is nice, also I get points for wearing the jersey in the time trial

Trofimov have performed really well this race. Got a chance of taking the podium place back now.
