I'm competing and I just made two events, all of them incomplete. If you're a good player, you can make several points even with the lowest stats, because, at least in the points race I can beat them all, even with low stats.

Or because the rest of us were lagging so much we couldnt sprint for the points

I think that does highlight the drawback to this stats for points system Crue, you need to score points early, so that you can then buy stats and score more points. Join late on, and it becomes much harder. (Although I guess you can still get points in the Keirin, since that uses an equal db)

Thats why i added the Keirin at the same time as the stat shop. Keirin is an equal DB and also slightly more weighted than the omnium .
Win a 5 round Kierin you get 20 points
A win overall in omnium is usually about 40 points.
And we usually do more than one Kierin.

Actually, a win in Omnium is more like 60 pts isnt it? Bar the points race, you get 20 pts by winning one of the rounds in it

Our highest ever is 62, however our recent ones are more like 30 points. Because we never actually win, the AI usually does.
