he's obviously in very good form at the moment. he must have attacked about 3 or 4 times on the climb and then the decent. It will be difficult for anyone to beat him overall now.
A flat stage that I expect to end in a sprint. Seeing as we have no sprinters in the squad it will be a quiet day for our team.
Gerdemann was again looking relaxed in the peleton and enjoyed a chat with his compatriot Jens Voigt as the peleton cruised along.
A large group went away today and seemed to be working well at the front.
Back in the peleton Langeveld and Martinez decided to try to bridge the gap to the lead group.
Together they bridged the gap and continued to the finish together alone.
With about 10k to go they were still over 2 mins ahead and the win was going to be contested by them.
Martinez took the win quite comfortably.
Back in the peleton Gerdemann simply followed Jens Voigt to the finish. Cancellara finished well and will take over the points jersey.
There was no change in the top 10 overall but Cancellara has taken over the lead in the points comp.
Gerdemann is still second and with a couple more flat stages before the Solvang TT it's going to be difficult to hold Cancellara off until the end.

Not really alot to say about todays stage. A break went away, they were caught and Arvesen won the sprint to take the green jersey and leapfrog Gerdemann into 2nd place overall.
So Gerdemann is now in 3rd overall. Hopefully he can hang on to that podium place but with the likes of Cancellara lurking just behind him it will be a tough ask.
One more flat stage to go before we hit the Solvang TT.
