BATracer Unavailable Until Further Notice
BATracer is presently unavailable due to legal issues concerning one or more of the user-submitted carsets which was brought to my attention this morning (2nd November 2009). Efforts are being made to resolve this issue and to restore the site at the earliest opportunity following changes.
The ability to further upload user-submitted content for inclusion in the game will be disabled until further notice.

Ferrari S.p.A. "Ferrari" of Maranello
The inclusion of Ferrari material into BATracer was not authorised by Ferrari, and the activity of BATracer and user contributions was not in any way related to Ferrari.
All Ferrari content will be removed from the game, and all user-carset projects involving Ferrari content will also be removed.
Any further plans? Maybe BTCC or something

Annoyingly I haven't been on the site much recently because of a holiday in Barcelona and a huge work load, so I missed this completely. Has the game begun then? It looks like the site is having massive difficulties anyway

Yes it begun just yesterday, but won't continue as ferrari is a part of LMES and batracer may close down for good after this.

No, BATracer aint done for. Its got too much of a loyal fanbase to just die out, so even if they are forced to shut it down now, expect the source code to accidently land in the hands of a group of trusted players who will restart it.

wow ferrari is being an ass. these sprites are so low detail i can only recognize it because the name is above it.
