I don't care, Cesc Fabregas ain't there. Anyway, don't be worried about Barca playing Lyon. They're going to draw Arsenal
Who will draw arsenal : lyon or barça ?
Barca, Lyon can't.
It's the rule with 1st and 2nd of groups. I had forgotten it.

If you knew Porto, you'd know that is the one single thing Porto produce: elite central defenders after elite central defenders.

yes, and you could know Lyon produce good players after good players, but they always go to great europeans clubs after only 2 years in France.
What a pity

Considering Lyon always sign the best players from every other french team, you can't really complain

Why not? the youth categories of NO CLUB would be good enough to keep such a level of players, so I think their policy is the right one.
Why don't you agree with it?

170 million euros? heh.
The costs of running a club are far higher than they seem.
Let's look at a similar case: Porto.
Both the stadium and the Academy/Training Ground are rated 5 stars by UEFA. So they're of such quality that maintenance is very very expensive.
That plus wages of all players and staff.
After that, Porto buys players and sells players for about the same amount. In the end, the profit at the end of the season is only about 5-8 million euros.
So, with Lyon having a reasonable stadium and a great academy, the costs are going to be similar. 170 million isn't much compared to all the costs of running such a club

You're true, even if Lyon's stadium is quite old. But there is/was in the french championship better players like gourcuff, etc... and lyon spend 17 M on Makoun, 18 M on Keita!! What's that??????

Well, Makoun is great, give him time to prove it. Also those players cost less than that
As for Gourcuff, Bourdeaux had a first option and exercised it, so it doesn't matter whether or not Lyon wanted him, as long as Bordeaux wanted him, that's where he went.

I agree with you, i know Makoun is going to be great, even if there's also Toulalan. For Gourcuff, it's Bordeaux who asked Milan for him so you're true.
I have to say you know the french championship!!!!

Well, I like football, and the french and german leagues are BY FAR the most exciting ones around.
Especially france, where every single team can win any game and has great players worth watching.
The reason I didn't comment Keita was simple: he isn't worth all they paid for him. He's very fast and strong and...that's it. He was good at Lille as they played on the counter, but at Lyon he's just not suited, even though he improved a lot in almost everything.

the french championship is interesting???? I'm personnaly fed up with all the boring 0-0 we have.
For Keita, I agree with you, he's fast, and he is probably the player who moves the most, but he isn't a Champions League level player, and for me, it's what counts the most

The Englisg FA have started a campaign to try and enter a British football team into the 2012 olympic games.
Wales,Northern Ireland and Scotland dislike the idea
