Tour of Turkey is nothing compared to the Volta profile madness.
The issue being?

Am I paranoid or when did scaling 0,6 0,7 0,8 1,4 2,6 in even intervals become universally acceptable in race profile graphs, or any kind of graphs for that matter?

Suleiman Kangangi off first in the Commonwealth Games ITT
Too bad he didn't last more than 15 minutes with both his bikes pedals not working.
It's work a watch if you've got a obscure nation as a mangame team, plenty of obscure Mangame riders involved.

He seems to be a nice talent, but I doubt Caja Rural will put much effort there, they're mainly preparing for La Vuelta |

Yes, enjoyed watching the early riders. Shaping up to be a great fight amongst the best riders.
Dowsett, Sergent, Durbridge, Thomas, Dennis was the order at the first check, but already Dennis and Thomas have now moved ahead of Sergent and Durbridge. Only seconds in it so far.

how is it possible of pedals to not work? just started watching at BBC looks somwhat similiar to the olympic time trial. is that just my imagination?
edit: just in time for Dennis and Dowsett
edit #2: lol it's in Glasgow, not London

Rohan Dennis faded between the last intermediate time check and the finish. Alex Dowsett had the last laugh by reversing the deficit to win by 9" (9.3 to be precise).

Really great race - I don't remember enjoying watching a time trial so much. So close between Dowsett, Dennis and Thomas all race - with Sergent and Durbridge also threatening to be in the mix after the 1st checkpoint too.
At the final checkpoint (before the finish) it looked like Dowsett had blown it, and Thomas was closing in on Dennis for the win - and then Dowsett managed to take it!
Here's a time gap graph to illustrate:

Looks to me like the numeric labels indicate a shift in gradient, but yeah I do get you

Ya, its kinda strange with her, but so far its 5 medals - 1 medal in New Zealands favor, in 2012 she represented Denmark though at the ol.
But its strange she is danish and born and grew up in Herning but now she lives in New Zealand and rides mostly for New Zealand but also still for Denmark. |
