Garmin - End of 3rd Season - Continue in PCM11
Alakagom
I don't think I need to say how this story is great Smile

Good stages, unlucky with Sanchez but all is not lost yet. Good luck.

You fell to 10th with Sanchez, but I think you can keep it. And congratz in getting 100 pages! I can't remember a story reaching this far since alex's with Columbia Sprint Train.

VladuuTs
very unlucky with lsanchez, but in the TT i think you can pass Sorensen and Txurruka which aren't very good time-trialists.

anyway, a banana for 100 pages Banana

CrazyCruser
congrats on your great story! go for the next 100 Wink

Thanks all. Really appreciated.

@ Pellizotti2, Alakakom: Hope so, too. My goal was to finish in the top 3. But now top 10 must be the new goal.
@ FreitasPCM: Thanks. I think it will be hard to reach the amount of pages of the Coumbia sprint story by Alex. Next story might be SN`s DFL story with 106 pages.
At the moment I am considering to overtake this story into PCM11. But it depends on how much time I would have to spend on and how playable PCM11 is.
@ VladuuTs: I hope so. Sörensen definitely possible but Txurruka is in such a good form, so not sure how much time I can gain on him.

Tour de Suisse - Stage 7

It`S the last mountain stage and probably also the hardest finish climb in the end. You really must have a good form if you want to climb with the best here. Sanchez still feels good, so we hope he can show something better than yesterday.

i1101.photobucket.com/albums/g434/Roturn1988/06%20June/TdS-7-2.jpg
The peloton almost climbs the first mountain stage after more than half of the stage and still no successful breakaway. Astana is controlling at the moment.

i1101.photobucket.com/albums/g434/Roturn1988/06%20June/TdS-7-3.jpg
Hoogerland won the sprint ahead of M.Lloyd and Chavanel. Sky`s Lloyd used this situation to attack. He now leads the race solo with a maximum advance of 3 minutes.

With 20km to go just ~25 riders in the first group. The last short hill was taken with a very fast speed, so lots of riders couldn`t follow. Also Stetina lost contact unfortunately, so Sanchez is again the only one here.

With Anton and Soler, two of the best climbers are doing the pace in the start of the climb. This brings lots of troubles for many riders.

i1101.photobucket.com/albums/g434/Roturn1988/06%20June/TdS-7-6.jpg
Under the 10km mark Lloyd gets caught, He had no chance against the big men today. Sanchez is still in the group doing quite good.

i1101.photobucket.com/albums/g434/Roturn1988/06%20June/TdS-7-7.jpg
On a steeper part Gesink, Schleck for Leopard and Contador, Soler for Astana created a gap to the others. Luckily for us is that Sanchez is coming next ahead of the other favourites. A +5 daily form can really help sometimes. Wink

Contador takes another stage. Nobody can stop him here and who should stop him in the Tour de France. He just looks unbeatable at the moment.
He wins 13s ahead of his team mate Soler and even 27s to the Leopard duo.

i1101.photobucket.com/albums/g434/Roturn1988/06%20June/TdS-7-9.jpg
Sanchez had a great day and wins the sprint for the 5th against Sörensen with +1'35 and even 17s ahead of the next group. In the end he started to suffer as he was solo for a long time but he was able to save a small gap luckily.

Nice stage. I think you will get Sörensen and Txurruka in the TT, maybe Fränk too. Porte is too good in TT and the gap to Andy and Soler is too big.

Well done! And congrats for 100 pages Smile

Congrats on the 100 pages. Good Luck at the tour!

valverde321
100 pages is nothing, I once had 356 pages...

Edit: This is a joke because 100 pages a really amazing.

Oh, shut up.

5th on that stage is a good result. Hopefully you can pass Sörensen and Txurruka in the TT. Good luck!

did you already reveal some of the interesting riders who haven't signed for the next season?

Thanks a lot. Had no time yesterday, so next flat stage and last time trial probably today.

Hope you are right. At least this is my goal. 7th should definitely be possible. 6th we will see, there is a hill in this time trial, so the climbers won`t lose as much time as on a totally flat one.

@ sam1196 I don`t have a very good overview at the moment.
Just a few names:
Riders that will stay; Contador, Brajkovic, Gilbert, Boasson Hagen, Cancellara, A.Schleck, Nuyens, Anton
Riders that will leave: Van Den Broeck, Sagan, Vaugrenard, Roche
Unsure: Cavendish, Kreuziger, Wiggins, Greipel, Basso

At first I planned to make an announcement every few days with these riders. But in the end it was just to many and so I just announced my own riders.
I will make a report later on after the transfer season and some times in between if the transfer is very big.

Tour de Suisse - Stage 8
Grindelwald - Huttwil
i1101.photobucket.com/albums/g434/Roturn1988/06%20June/TdS-8-1.jpg
It`s the last flat stage before the final ITT. Actually it`s not that flat as there are 4 climbs on the last 40 kilometers. So Sagan is of course the big favourite today. LL Sanchez will try to relax and save his energy for the important time trial.

i1101.photobucket.com/albums/g434/Roturn1988/06%20June/TdS-8-2.jpg
9 riders in the break. With Kessiakoff we send one of our riders in the hope to get a stage win today.
O'Grady (Leopard), Kadri (Ag2r), Longo Borghini (Androni), Kolobnev (Katusha), Kennaugh (Sky), Canuti (Colnago), Goesinnen (Skil) and Gregoire (RadioShack) are the other riders.

i1101.photobucket.com/albums/g434/Roturn1988/06%20June/TdS-8-3.jpg
Especially Lampre for Napolitano and NetApp for Ciolek are doing the pace.
The maximum advance is almost 10 min with 105km to go.

i1101.photobucket.com/albums/g434/Roturn1988/06%20June/TdS-8-4.jpg
With 12km to go the breakaway is over. The sprinter teams made a high pace, so also Goss is suffering a lot.

i1101.photobucket.com/albums/g434/Roturn1988/06%20June/TdS-8-5.jpg
Sagan wins the sprint very dominant. He was one of the very few sprinters in the end. Frank Schleck and LL Sanchez with a strong 3rd on the next places. Due to the time bonus he even overtook Sörensen before the time trial. Therefore also Schleck gained some seconds on him in the fight for the 6th.
