If you edited this in an ongoing career you should edit DYN_Contract_Cyclists as well.
No, i changed it not in a save but in the normal DB

What you can do is edit the contract in the save, perhaps that works.

Giant-Shimano
Barguil took 2 stage wins in Le Tour, and finished 12th Overall. He also came 2nd in KoM, after Voeckler stole it by 2 points on the final climb of the race. The KoM duel was a three week epic fight between Barguil, Voeckler, Chavanel and Bardet i've never seen anything like it. There were 18pts separating the 4 riders, amazing!
Various Top10's here and there but we are in the relegation fight. The battle includes Orica, Cannondale, Giant, FDJ, AG2R and Trek (with Lampre and Lotto not exactly safe either). Europcar are gone already basically.
So i was thinking "Not too bad, Degenkolb should do really well at La Vuelta and Kittel can pick up good things in some classics"... WRONG! Cavendish, Sagan and Demare all come to the Vuelta so there goes that help. Kittel then crashes in Vattenfall taking him out.
Survival, and i can't believe this, rests on Geschke/Dumoulin/Barguil doing well in Canada and Beijing and Lombardia...
If we do survive i've signed Sagan (pretty much the same stats) and Bouhanni (80+ in SP/ACC) to the team. Also got three U23 riders who should be good

I never spend time planning, I have no need with Riwal team as they only have about 12 riders.

Time to cry and continue...
Having set up my sprinttrain in the Herald Sun (Howson, Docker, Ewan, Lancaster), needing the win to take over 1st in the GC. being in a great position... And then Docker crashes, taking Ewan, Hepburn (2nd GC) and Chaves with him... LKancaster still managed to get fifth but... Oh well...

So some people might remember my quest to make Herklotz the next German TdF winner, or the one trying to win all three GTs in one year with Nibali (both successful, if you forgot ), and I came up with another one recently.
Who the hell is Merckx?
Difficulty: Extreme (as always)
Well, this obviously could be about a lot of highly acclaimed feats, but I'm referring to the jersey-mania at the Tour.
Yellow, green and polka-dot not only once, but as often in repetition as possible. The "minimum" goal is 5, 7 would be more awesome.
Now this challenge didn't come upon me while browsing through teams, but actually directly after finishing the first Tour stage (flat) with an advantage over the sprinters in the points classification with Nairo Quintana.
Yes, not the best sprinter amongst the GC men by far, but obviously the GT prospect with the longest lifespan, so it's still pretty reasonable considering I don't want to start with an already declining Valverde or Purito.
So without further ado, I present you the result of the first try.
The concluding 50k time trial saw me lose 3'04 of his advantage of 3'08 to Contador. Luckily I didn't stop trying to put time into him in the mountains.
The KoM jersey is down to some HC climbs I focused on, the points jersey down to a lot of points gained in a few hilly stages and tackling every intermediate throughout the race.
Again luckily, the AI for those is decently fucked up to say the least, so it wasn't too difficult scoring nearly as much as the pure sprinters there, and getting maximum points after the break in the mountain stage sprints is obviously rather easy as well.
White was an easy bonus of course.
I'm at the 2015 Tirreno right now and with only minor focus on the classics and the Giro (although Ion Izagirre has 78 hill with still 2 stars left), the Tour isn't too far away again.
I'll keep you updated if you desire so!

I really need an exciting save preferably a team that already has or can gain access to world tour events ! another idea I had was novo nordisk as I love the concept of a team all with type 1 diabetes but I wouldn't be able to keep the fully diabetic up as I don't know any other diabetic riders
PS: I prefer strong mountain teams than sprints

I think NetApp would be fun. Konig is probably good enough to challenge for the Polka Dots or a Top 10/15 at the Tour or any other GT, and they have a well rounded squad and nice jerseys
---
Im currently trying to play around with some of the historical databases. Thinking of taking Euskaltel in the 2000 DB and making them even stronger than they were in real life and getting a Tour win with Mayo/Zubeldia/Sanchez however Mayo's potential was quite bad. On 6 potential he had one star in MO/Hill and his current stats were 71/70 so he was hardly going to improve into a strong enough rider.

With the pcmdaily db netapp is a save candidate for promoting. With the 14er teamroster they got Machado and Bennet, further quality riders, and Barta is a really good TT-rider. |

Giant Shimano
About to start Season 2 (2015). Signed in Sagan and Bouhanni and 3 U23 riders. I now have just an insane sprint team!
Kittel 83/83
Bouhanni 81/79
Sagan 79/83 (plus 77CB and 78HL)
Degenkolb 79/79 (plus 78CB and 74HL)
Mezgec 79/78
Arndt 77/77 (plus 71TT and 75PLG)
Sinkeldam 77/77 (plus 72CB)
Veelers 76/76
Ahsltrand 75/75
Outside of sprinting: Geschke (76HL 73TT), Dumoulin (75HL 76TT), Barguil (75MO 75HL) De Backer (76CB) and Ludvigsson (77TT 77PLG) as leaders or alternative options. We should comfortably move from relegation fighter up to mid-table contenders.

I'm in 2015 with Tinkoff - Saxo and I need your help to decide my GT squads. The sponsor goals for the grand tours are: Win Giro d'Italia, Top 3 Tour de France, Win Vulta a Espana.
Which riders should i selected for the three GT's?

Le Tour

Vuelta

My captains are Sagan, Contador, Kreuziger and Majka. I have considered Kreuziger as captain in the Giro, Contador for the Tour and Majka for the Vuelta. But again, Contador could also be captain for lets say two GTs???

What? 3 TTTs at Le Tour? I hope you were reversing them?
Contador could do Giro+Vuelta, and Kreuziger Ardennes+ Le Tour?
Majka being support and peaking for one-week races.

One prologue and two TTT's
Hmm, honestly, i would rather have Contador to do the Tour
In fact i was plannig that Sagan did the classics - cobbles as well as Ardennes But thats maybe to much for him?

That's crazy
Contador to do Tour seems okay, but Giro-Tour and Tour-Vuelta is annoying to me, becuase you can't do anything in the rest of the season, because he'd be too tired.
Kreuziger could do Giro + Vuelta, but he can't really do Ardennes then, and Sagan will have trouble with LBL at least.
