Oh, I missread it.
Right above his last year's national championships win was a win at Osterreich Rundfahrt ITT so I figured..
If offense is the best defence, does it mean that defence is the worst defence?
If I should die before I wake, I pray the Lord will delete my browser history.

Moerenhout is a very good TT-ist, though not as good as Martin. |

Moerenhout was even 6th at the Worlds ITT last year.
But Martin is the 2nd best TT specialist in the world atm, i rate him higher dan Gustav "I get overtaken early by Cancellara and then hang on" Larsson any day |

Oh and would the Hagen fanboys stop shouting he was by far the strongest today?? If you are by far the strongest you dont end up 1 minute behind the leaders.
Fabian Cancellara in PR, thats being by far the strongest. |

A strong ride by Moerenhout today. The top 3 is most likely set now.
1. Martin
2. Moerenhout
3. Boasson Hagen
The thing now is which one of them is going to be on the different spots.

PS!
Any one got a reaction of what Davis was doing? Did he seriously belive that he won the stage, or is a top 3 position for him like winning?

Hagen is far from certain to get 3rd

With his strength and TT abilits, i would say so. But it's still a lot of racing left. So we have to wait and see

In a 16km TT there is no way he is going to make up that much time on Moerenhout, if he is going to make up time at all.
dont forget Moerenhout was 6th in the World ITT championship last year and recently won the Tour of Austria ITT.
He isn't likely to lose more than 20 seconds to Hagen on 16km. |

If Cancellara could go a little bit faster in the corners Gustav dident have to ridden behind Cancellara the whole time. |

Great win for Koos, classy rider, and this is a classy way to go out, if it is his final win. |

I didn't mean that he will take the 1 place. I ment for him to take the 3rd place.
I hope that Moerenhout wins, since he is 36(?) years old and since it's his last year. Im cheering for him, belive it or not

Gustav Larsson is a better TT rider than Tony Martin. Gustav was 2nd in the Olympics and in the WC last year. Martin was almost 2 minutes behind Gustav in the WC last year. He will beat Tony Martin any day.
You will see what I mean in the WC 2010.

I disagree.
Tony Martin:
2010
1st National Time Trial Champion
1st Stage 7 ITT Tour of California
6th Overall Tour de Suisse
1st Stage 9 ITT Tour de Suisse
Tour de France
Held Maillot Blanc from Prologue to Stage 2
2nd Prologue
2nd Stage 19 ITT
Gustav Larsson:
2010
Sweden National Time Trial Champion
1st Stage 21 ITT, Giro d'Italia
1st Stage 2 ITT, Tour du Limousin
1st Stage 1 ITT, Vuelta a la Comunidad de Madrid
Not to be biased but AToC also had better TTers imo with Levi, Canc, Rogers, Dave Z compared to the Giro. Plus the German TT Championships would be harder to win than the Swedish. |

Exactly.
Plus, Larsson did well at the Olympics and WC by spending the entire season focusing on only that race in the first case, and by drafting someone else in the second case.
Notice that in the second case, he was behind Martin at the first two splits. Then he started drafting Cancellara...
It's like Bodrogi in 2007: He only got the medal because he drafted.

With all due respect, you are Swedish. You can not possibly have an unbiased opinion about a Swedish rider.

but if we compare on the race both of then compare in at the same time, donĀ“t know this year, but tfd last year.
The first stage last year : Martin 8 and Larsson 11, 8 seconds after Martin.
Stage 18 a 40 km long TT ; Martin 11 and Larsson 4 ,31 seconds faster then Martin, I know this was last year and Martin may have developed since then,They are even on TT but I would say that the dayform is the difference between them, |
