SPRINT – Serebryakov/Team Type 1
Six riders are trying to slip away off the front of the peleton, they are Hawkins/IG Sigma Sport, Soladay/Team Optum, Monier/Cofidis, Sarmiento/Liquigas, Carlsen/Team Exergy and Russom/MTN Qhubeka
MOUNTAIN - Sarmiento/Liquigas
They have been joined by Delaplace/Saur Sojasun and the lead has gone out to 4m 49s
MOUNTAIN - Sarmiento/Liquigas
MOUNTAIN - Sarmiento/Liquigas
The lead group now has 4m 19s on the peleton
MOUNTAIN - Sarmiento/Liquigas
The advantage of the group has dropped to under three minutes
Rapha Condor Sharp and Team Raleigh are leading the chase to bring the breakaway back
1m 28s is the latest time check being given over the race radio, so this is going to be close
Sarmiento of Liquigas who has been active all day has decided to give it a go from a long way out
It wasn't to last long though as the peleton had soon wiped them all out and the final sprint finish of this years race had begun, who would be victorious
It would be Fabio Felline of Androni

Movistar Team
Well that is the end of our time here in the Tour of Britain and overall it has been a very successful time for us.
We go home with three stage wins and the Best sprinter and Young riderClassifications both down to Alexander Serebryakov.
And Alexander, Vegard and George all get top ten placings on the General Classification |

Strange, what was up with Serebryakov? Only 11th doesn't quite match his other performances at the Tour of Britain. At least, some riders ahead of him lost time and he is again on the podium of overall classification. Great race by Team Type 1.

Sutty, how many races are you doing in a season?
Seems like OVER 9000!

There are just these days where nothing is gained by the team.
P.S.: Nice snowing of the screen.

Hi there, I've been following your's and other stories for a long time now. It helps me to learn how to play the game. I find the sponsors quite interesting. I see Auber 93 - BigMat won today. In my game BigMat is co-sponsor for FDJ. (FDJ - BigMat). I also got a message last week saying Movistar will end their sponsorship at the end of current season (2013). Love the game and your story is great! |
