Great race. And Zaugg chose a nice race to take his first win in.

A nice way to end quite a strange season, which included some pretty huge surprises in RvV and Paris Roubax, a French man almost finishing on the podium in Le Tour, a French man winning on Alpe d'Huez, a rider who scored 0 CQ points in 2010 winning La Vuelta and the disband of the most successful team of the last few years. At least Cav finally got his green jersey.

But it was a nice Giro the Lombardia. I enjoyed it.
He is good rider..guy is 30. On he's best years. And top form Zaugg is threat or perfect helper for any team. |

Today I'm even more proud to be swiss ! Really great timed attack by Zaugg. If think he deserves it after all this years with no big win. And for Leopard Trek it's the only big win this year...!! |

It's a great achievement for you to be Swiss, kudos. Much to be proud of. And Zaugg owes you so much.
Also, I agree with the fact that not winning once in ten years makes you deserve one big win. Makes sense. |

Expect offers from Ag2r, Geox and Vacansoleil amongst others then. Good timing for Zaugg, to cash in on his success immediately.

On the same logic, I'll take my very deserved Giro overall win right now. I mean I've never won anything ever, surely I deserve at least a Giro

Only one Giro!? You deserve a double, at least, isso! |

Nibbles <3
What a great race this was, even with the WTFest winner in a year full of surprises. The last true Lombardia before the dirty UCI and the retarded RCS turn it into a summer race.

From the pictures he seemed to be wearing a regular helmet. Why and how much time did that cost him, that's the question. |

Millar said on Twitter that Tony Martin even apologised as he passed him out on the course!
Re: the picture. I saw footage of the junior race in the morning and they were all on normal road bikes. I wonder if it was the same for the seniors? Or perhaps the picture is from the Beijing TT? |

This picture is from the tour of bejing ! All the teams left their tt bikes at home because it would have been a too big effort to bring them to China. |

That's obviously a Tour of Beijing pic. Too many Chinese guys with Chinese flags to be in France, no?
