Earthquake in Eastern States: Makes front page, is talked about by News Stations for several days.
Strength: 5.9 on the Fujita scale
Earthquake in Vancouver Island: Didn't make the first page, already old news, and hasn't recieved any attention on TV.
Strength: 6.4 on the Fujita scale
Not that I really care, just that I dont see why its getting less coverage than the US quake, when this quake was stronger and in Canada.

Only because people on the East coast run things in America.
In Britain it was the last piece on the news the day it happened and then wasn't mentioned, but essentially no damage ==> no one cares unless you were involved.
