It was quite annoying, because the school buses were working, so we went to school, stood around for a few minutes before being told that there was no school. |

I had the luxury of waking up at 11 (with school starting at 8:45) since school was cancelled for the day at 8ish so noone bothered waking me up

Same in parts of Denmark. Except those, who had a day off, were warned before-hand |

I arrived, then turned around and came home.

I can safely say it's never come anywhere close to happening to me.

Well, what would you expect?
Just heard on the radio there's several traffic jams of 30-40km due to the weather It's gonna take a while for you to get home if you're at the end of that |

Well, I just heard 20cm of snow are expected. That'd surely be enough to let the bus company descide not to ride, thus giving me a day off?
I hope so... maths test tomorrow... :s |

You see, around 50 cm in Viborg, but do they give us a day-off? No, of course not..
Especially annoying when almost every other school in the town have "closed". Imagine receiving text messages thru' the entire day!! |

It snowed here once. For about 15 minutes.
A large human mass immediately left all the surrounding buildings and came outside to look in awe and take pictures.....for about half an hour.
I took a picture of a couple of guys who ran out of the neighbouring gym into the snow wearing nothing but beach trunks.

Looks like there won't be any busses in my area tommorow because of the snow, which mean I will have yet another day off

We had about 60 cm but as far as i know the schools are open and there's probably no chance for university to give a day of.
Tuesday morning when I went to the exams (live 120km away btw and didn't want to go a day earlier) had to take an earlier bus than normal because the roads were horrible.

Speaking of the weather, -40.4 (Celcius) was registered in Sweden the night between yesterday and today.
That's just crazy. |

Yes, blocking the gulf stream (a current of water from the caribbean to the north sea, making this area warmer. If it got cut off properly Britain would be like Norway. |
