Well, well. Finally some snow in Belgium (and damn much).
Best thing about it is, I don't have to go out at all this week, just watching out the window seeing people lay on their asses, what a great day.
Damn, 10 cm of snow isn't fun, especially when you have to cycle to school 5 km in a blizzard and the local authorities haven't cleared the roads at all

Meh. It was snowing in the whole Netherlands, except where I live
And yes, snow is fun, and it's great when the whole country is a mess

I go to leiden for school so I know where your coming from (funny thing was only 3 people out of the 15 people in our class came on time, the only three going by bike to school )

Gemeente Katwijk (I live in Valkenburg) decided not to do anything this morning, so the first 3 km were just pathetic. Leiden and Oegstgeest (where I go to school) did a pretty good job though.

Luckily I'm on een internship (stagelopen) right now and I can decide my own work schedule and I can choose to work at home. Needless to say I didn't go outside today. The streets were loaded with cars stuck in a huge traffic jam.

Drenthe, the Netherlands: The same situation as Fjhoekie mentioned in Friesland.
I want snow in Drenthe, but I don't want to have snow in Friesland. If it stays cold in Friesland, but no snow, then the 'Elfstedentocht' might happen: A massive ice-skating race, which takes the whole day, crossing a big part of Friesland, and then half of the Netherlands would then either go to Friesland to participate or be a spectator, or take a day off to watch it on TV
