Why would you even move to Sky when you know you are only going to be a part of their train?

Meaning even more money. If you're on the team that wins a GT with a couple stages, that's a huge bonus. |

Plus he felt disappointed that Movistar din't give him a chance to ride in any GT this year.
But yeah, money talks.

I reckon he could with the right team to support him in both races |

Surprised they got Boswell as well. Excellent signing for Sky.
So that's 7 in and 6 out so far. Dowsett and Cav epxected to leave, with Fenn + maybe Classics Rider completing the roster for Sky 2013.

Yes, two excellent sigings.
I've also heard that Dowsett is leaving. Any idea where he is going? And do we know why he is leaving? I'm surprised Sky doesn't want to keep hold of him.

I would think Dowsett would be leaving to get better opportunity in races, with Sky's roster it makes sense

My thoughts on Joe D are known (namely that it might not be the best place for his development), but certainly big props to him on officially being signed by Sky. Representing NCVC at the top level. Awesome.
As for Boswell, now that to me is a little bit smarter move, and I don't think he'll have as much trouble getting rides in the races he needs in the roles he needs. I'm not as high on him as most, but I do think he'll be a quality rider in the future. |

Really?!?!? I thought he'd made it clear he was done with racing in Europe.
Really great rider, happy he's giving it one last go, but I'm really surprised. |
