Same here. I'm handing in my university project today, and hopefully, I'll get it done before it starts getting interesting in the Giro - I really don't want to miss this |

Today, we are gonna see if the peloton is cleaner or it is just the low level and the weak effect of hematide that has made the differences on the VMA.

I betted on Basso in the fantasy betting, the odds were good.
Therefore, given my history with constantly choosing the wrong option even at times when it seamed blatantly obvious, I think we can safely assume that Basso will not win today.
Nevertheless, it will be a interesting stage. |

Anyone know where we can get the splits of the riders from?
They seem to have started already. |

I have been going for Vinokourov myself. I feel like he have been doing quite well considering that he have been dropped fairly early on both tough climbs so far.
He is also normally a very good TT'er and he got that winners instinct that will be important also.
This not about TT..this is about climbing. Evans, Basso, ..Sastre should finaly start something. Can't wait what Szmydt can do. Cunego maybe
and Arroyo will loose another 1'30..
It is still hard work to get that pink from Arroyo
You can never neglect the fact that it's all about being on your own. Some TT'ers are better at that than climbers. Some climbers are amazing at going their own pace, but a lot of them are also good at going up and down in pace until they finally crack their opponents. That's not a good way to be riding a mountain TT.

Normally I've been wrong also, but had a run of 4 straight wins in the odds, making me go from 10dollars to 340 Now I have lost most of it again. If Vinokourov wins today I will be on 800-something though

PS: Interesting remark by rjc -> only 7 riders out of TOP30 of 2008 Kronplatz TT are starting tomorrow: 3. Simoni, 13. Petrov, 14. Larsson, 16. Szmyd, 18. Nibali, 25. Possoni, 26. Chris Sorensen. Shows how quickly are things changing in peloton...
Possoni has also abandoned, on thursday if I'm correct

Why are there such big time gaps in the starting order? Do they need to prepare the gravel? |

Markus Fothen is close to being eliminated, with that time.
Anyway, it'll be VERY interesting to compare the best times today with the best times from 2008. The best time back then was 40:26
