Your probably confused cause yesterday ITV4 showed the points standings (Boonen 234, Hunter 210) and Phil Ligget said Boonen had a 34 point lead.

you know if Levi wins the GC then Levi4life will never stop talking about it, in fact i'm sure he said Levi will definatley win the tour and many people (including me) told him to stop talking rubbish
Really a great win by Levi. Just imagine what would have happened if Brunyeel would have stuck to the plan going into the tour. Levi WOULD have won it. Im not happy with Brunyeel but that is the best win I have ever seen Levi Take. Fourth fastest ITT time behind the names of Armstrong, Indurain and LeMond Not bad. |

it was a great TT but Contador was stronger in the mountains so you can't exactly critisise Brunyeel for that, he was the only one that could keep up with Rasmussen, and he was doped
but Levi did work very hard in the mountains with Popo, no doubt Disco had the best team in the mountains

In the alps Contador was stronger but Levi did have to pull Contador's ass up the final mountains in the tour instead of riding for himself or better yet wihta team to back him up. |

Ou yes we find at least one..Contador suporter. What I can say after waching recorded stage...
Contador keep yellow..what to do...that wasnt mission impossible for Ewans..but had been always top..always max efort. No more power left...
If someone had told that Leiphaimer will lose Evans in GC just for +8sec. I would say for him f**k off. First thought is ofcorse..damn he peaked to late. But even more fun option is...damn that was well built TdF...and this almost worked out.
Final opinion wont be popular and not my favorite eather...If chapter: If Conta. wont have Rasmussen who was he's main rider after team we can say best team mate..If spain havent "lost" Fuentes documents...I know this is stupid.
I would say Contador peaked to early on his career...now on it will be much harder.

Dont think so...this was he's year. At least I dont belive that Disco talk like they was planning for Levi TdF..both Giro and TdF was planned at first for Basso...ambition has Disco team is. And next year I dont think Conatdor like to ride in Giro...and he gonna look ,talk, walk like Valverde. I'm the man. Disco squad was to strong in TdF..I didnt expect that.
Only one positive ascpect I liked was Popo kind of comeback. |

I see so many people everywhere saying "Contador is going to win so many Tours in the next few years"
uhh...yeah....that's what everyone said about Ullrich back in 97.

uhh...yeah....that's what everyone said about Ullrich back in 97.
Ullrich was something else..main reason why Ullrich losed was:
1. Armastrong
2. Ullrich himself
Everyone just like to see new Armstrong to come..I dont.. |

even before Armstrong, he could have won a second Tour if he had his mind to it.
he didn't. he was unmotivated and didn't try. and of course that lost him the Tour. how he lost 9 minutes in one mountain stage is quite unbelievable. |

that's not guaranteed to make you mentally tough, though.
(I know you didn't say it was. I'm just adding to your comment)
look at Mayo. same for him and determination is far from being one of his strengths

This was reason nr.2
2. Ullrich himself |

I was afraid that sord of comparing will come out. They have just same climbing style...if contador keeps up that Armstrong tempo climb..(of the saddle and tic-tac starts) about 500m. Then Armstrong did it 5000m. TT..Contador is ok..but there is lot to improve to catch Armstrong.
Most important thing..next years wont be easy for Contador. He is marked man. |
