Tamouridis back to SP Tableware
It's hard to believe no bigger teams gave him a chance
It's a shame. I really grew to like him this season. He is worthy of riding on a WT team, he's strong enough for that. Given more time to grow, he'd probably turn out to be a very handy WT domestique.
More time to grow? He's 33...

I meant like a season or 2 more on a WT team. To gain the WT experience, exposure and just generally get used to top-end racing.

Horner has set new standards for what is considered young and perspective. |

No, Horner has set new standards on how good you can dope at a ripe old age. Small difference |

Lampre sign 2 neo-pro's for next season. Bonifazio's best result this year was a stage win in the Coupe des Nations Ville Saguenay against some good young riders, outsprinting Sondre Holst Enger. Conti's best was a 3rd place in the Ruota d'Oro - GP Festa del Perdono

And at the same time it seems that Christina Watches's decalartions about pretty much having signed on a fusion with a foreign team to go Pro-Conti was another example of having more in the mouth than in the legs...

Maurits Lammertink back to Jo Piels after his first WT season at Vacansoleil-DCM, where he rode a very good Giro.
21 out of 27 VCD riders now with a new team, while Flecha retires. Good when you compare it to Euskaltel for example. 5 riders still without a known new contract:
-Kenny Van Hummel. Signed with Alonso, but team didn't go through. Linked to Bobbie Traksel's Dutch Cycling Union plan for a one-year continental team for Dutch and Belgian riders pro riders without a contract, but Kenny says he won't ride at any level for any salary.
-Wouter Mol. Actively linked to DCU plan. Wants to keep cycling, he told me personally on the Vacansoleil fan-day
-Bertjan Lindeman. Not actively linked to DCU plan but could potentially go there.
-Grega Bole. No rumours or links.
-Tomasz Marczynski. Linked to a new CT team called Active Jet,
I'm happy that most of them found a team, but yet it's sad to see a talented young rider like Lindeman still in limbo. Also sad for Van Hummel, who thought he had a deal with Alonso and stopped searching afterwards. Bole and Marczynski are both accomplished riders but that's not enough anymore nowadays I guess.

Shame about Lammertink, he's quite a talent. Well, I'm just hoping for 'De Rijke' to be a PCT team in 2015, maybe there lies his chance in 2015?
Same for Lindeman, also a good talent.
Well, I don't get why guys like Bole, Van Hummel & Marczynski aren't approached by at least a PCT team yet...

That would be one sick team though. Shame for Quintana, Valverde then. But about the rumour:

If it meant he would be lost to cycling commentary then I'm for a Martins comeback

Damn. Froome+Quintana+Valverde
Aside from that it would be extremely boring, it would be a worse mountain train than the Sky train
