Almost missed that Thank you and all the other readers for following!
@all: Thank you for your California-feedback!
@baia: At least Lander won't forget this race
@roturn: You were almost right about Duarte's late attack in California But it was in our first season, so two years ago, when Duarte won ToC in final stage! Last year Duarte finished 3rd (by 1 second ahead of 4th), but Valverde was dominating the GC.
@laidbackmarc: I totally agree about the bananas
Note: I will post our next race later this day. The Acadamy was back on track! So stay tuned for An Post Rás, Ireland!

(Game crashed after final stage, so no complete results this time)
This month continues to be quite succesful for Dark Dog! Though our sprinter Sam Bennett couldn't take a stage-win in his home-country, the Acadamy did really well in An Post Rás! Several Top-5-results in the stages, a nice 3rd overall for Barton and 4th for Edmundson plus two leader-shirts (KoM and Young-rider) is more than satisfiying! Well deserved overall winner is Oliver Zaugg, who won the "queen-stage" and added another stage-win as well! Team Dark Dog was also impressed by their former rider Richard England, who managed to win three mass-sprints.. Congrats to Zaugg:

Here's the summary of May 2012: all results and the rankings, which look way better for Dark Dog after the Giro and Tour of California The upcoming June will be all about preparing for the Tour de France, where our captains Linus Gerdemann and Rein Taaramäe will try to do their best. Don't expect them to be succesfull like Duarte in Giro

@all: Thank you, guys! The Academy did a good race, I agree
So.. sorry for not updating today and yesterday, but I got an annoying problem with the Tour de Suisse in my game. I wanted to do reports for this important tour-preparation, but the variant is the worst (!) variant I've ever played Simply... bad. I first wanted to post a screen to show you, what I mean.. but I won't I was too lazy to change the stages by myself, so I will skip the reports and will continue with Acadamy-racing: Tour de Nez, USA.

Sorry for being a bit late with the report.. but I was busy with a variant, I worked on and also some other, not PCM-related things But here's - finally - the Tour de Nez-summary:
We hadn't expected too much from our young guns here. No one of the riders was in best shape and so we had to go for breakaways and stage-wins. Well, we didn't win a stage, but Kangert's 2nd in the mountain-timetrial is quite a success. It looked like he could reach a Top-5-result in overall, but the final stage was too hard for his level of fitness. Our local hero Chris Barton won the KoM-jersey, and that's definitely a nice addition! Congrats to Knees - he showed his strength:

Thanks, baia! With a better shape, this race would have been even more fun. But this is why I started the Acadamy: to have a great challenge at those small races
So.. the June is already over! Here's the results of this month and the first news from the National championships, too!

@baia: Totally agree. All that counts is the win in the NC.. and Gerdemann didn't. Martens attack on 2nd-to-last climb was very good, though I didn't expect him to create a gap. Bad luck.. and.. yes... maybe next year
Stay tuned for our next race... Le Tour de France!! Our first TdF I will start the previews tomorrow!
