I see where you're coming from, I sort of have been through the same phase when I was younger. When you don't have a girlfriend at that time, all you think about is getting one.
It's ironic because now that I've had one for the last 2,5 years I don't have this feeling at all anymore and I just focus on making the most of my life. Don't get too upset about not having anybody, at least not until you're like 40 or something. Focus on your personal development: school, friends, sports, family, all those things enrich your life, and they teach you to be a better person. If you don't, you'll regret not making the most of your life when you're older.
You can't force the girlfriend thing. Searching for someone isn't the answer. Stay active in your own social environment, and she'll cross your path soon enough. Until then, don't worry about it and just have fun. |
