I'm saying Cornu going back to Topsport (which i've always seen as more of a Dev team for the Belgian ProTour squads) is a step back for him.

I can honestly say that I could not for the life of me see that one coming... not for a hundred years Shock
And i feel that this one is even more appropriate here:

From Skil to Topsport? Perhaps a minor step, but at least it's still Pro Cont.

I also think that Cornu can be very happy to find a team like topsport after Pegasus failed. So it`s still a good step for him. There are still plenty of good riders without any team. (Knees, Rohregger, Eichler, Hunter, Impey...)

Tobias Erler also rode for the Iranian team last year. He reported sometimes on a German cycling page, was quite interesting to follow. His opinion of the people there were about 180° to what the politic is saying Grin
But to be honest, Eibegger is much more famous than Erler was Grin So I haven`t seen this coming at all.

Armstrong Confirmed Mcewen and Hunter to Radioshack

he tweeted: Hey @mcewenrobbie and @RobbieHunter, welcome to @TeamRadioShack!!

another tweet: As if I wasn't psyched enough already for @tourdownunder. Now to have @mcewenrobbie riding w/ us. Pretty damn cool.

In other words, in a year McEwen is going to face the same situation: his team has disbanded and he needs to either find another or retire.

In the end, Pegasus going bust has helped McEwen - he has a more realistic chance of riding the bigger races now, despite Bruyneel's usual attitude to sprinters (i.e. not caring)

Why is this a big deal anyway. I mean, I like Robbie, but he's terrible now.

In the article of this news on Sporza it said a quote of McEwen that he was retiring at the end of this year. Well he said: "In what should be my last year as a pro."
