Tom Boonen is crying right now after having crashed in Cyclassics. 18 km to go.
All the other riders from the crash have moved up, but Boonen is still laying on the ground.

I'm guessing there's a pacifier on the back of the award that he's sucking on....

if the finish was another metre ahead, Freire would have won.
and to think there's a thread on the forum right now about an attack on the flat in the finish |

Freire should be pissed at that! Me and Smoothie reckon it could be Millar in 10th, or close to that. He was definately up there

Ballan really deserved that win. Ckeck out how Sandro takes a look at the gap he was getting when riding furiously to the top of the peloton, and then he definately gave it a try. It's a pity the line weren't half a meter after the real one.
A finisheur sprint, like the Cancellara's in Compiègne or the most famous by Jelle Nijdam in late 80's. One of the greatest riders around the world this Sandro. |

yes but still he is such a great all-rounder now he has lost some of his TT ability, 8th in Paris, 11/12th today not bad for a Scottish rider
but yes Ballan was awesome today
