that was very stupid of Zubeldia and Popovych...They shouldn't work in the front group...Everyone knows that Lance Armstrong can't win the Tour ..Contador will be the leader of Astana. The chance of Lance winning the Tour is 1/10000000000..
Why stupid? Armstrong gained time on all GC riders; he was the only GC rider there. (I'm not counting rogers and kirchen as gc riders) Well kirchen could do well.. |

very suprised about Zubeldia.
I think there will be lot of interesting interviews after stage and i wanna see how astana will perform tomorrow, because it seems like there are two teams inside Astana.
And i cannot imagine how Armstrong can perform better in mountains than Contador , sorry Armstrong fans, but just cant. |

I love this. A superb stage and the best part of it is that Skil had 5 men there were everybody, even in the Netherlands, were wondering what the fuck they were doing in the Tour
Laughing my ass off now.
And Astana... definately split in two now |

I'm confused by everyone saying Astana shouldn't have worked.
Why not?
While Contador is the favorite, neither Rogers, Kirchen and Gerdeman (who also made the split) aren't his main competitors... if anything they're all more at Lance's level... outside shots. Getting extra seconds for Lance just makes sense at this point.
It will be interesting with the TTT... Cancellera, Martin or Armstrong in Yellow after it's done. Somehow I can't see Milram getting Gerdeman in ahead of Saxo-Bank, Columbia and Astana. |

Dont forget Wiggens for yellow, seeing Garmin also is one of the favourites for the TT and is only 20 seconds behind Armstrong, personnely i hope Armstrong gets yellow, would be very nice.

Ofc, Contador will win the tour with only Paulinho helping him, he will get very far with this ...
Contador still has to follow orders to

Skil - Shimano was actually the best team today with 3th, 8th and 12th spot.

Your absolutely wright, that team with their yellow shirts and the worlds best sprinters wasnt nearly as good as Skil, how are they called, Columbia or something? <.<

Great stage today. Two flat stages and Boonen hasn't got a top10 what more could you ask for?
I really hope SaxoBank doesnt screw things up... I don't think I can stand watching Armstrong in yellow again.
In my mind there are 2 maybe 3 teams that can compete for victory tomorrow: SaxoBank, Astana and Garmin

I'm not counting Columbia out either.
Yellow will be Cancellera, Martin, Armstrong or Wiggins after the stage. |

What about Columbia? Winner of the one in Giro?
