Only problem is that these commens are to be placed in the Favoruable and Critical-comments forum -- but thanks a lot, Guido! |

Does anybody think that Eddy Mazzoleni will take over today, I think theres a good chance. Di Luca will fight hard though. |

i think theres a very good chance, but i can't belive that he will, i think someone else like Schleck or Simoni will (especially with Piepoli's help)
i think that Di Luca has put too much effort in already (but then again i never even thought he was capable of leading the giro at all) |

I thought i was dangerous at start because one team cant do all the work for 21 stages. |

I don't think Schleck will be good today. He has topped, I think. Also, he hasn't been strong on the really high mountains, so he will be dropped. Mazzo, well, he might win. He is doped anyway (and shouldn't have been allowed to start at the Giro, because he's being investigated. But because Astana isn't a part of the ethic codex he was allowed to start anyway). |

yes i kind of agree about Schleck, but he is still learning and in a few years he will become a tour winner about Mazzolini i didn't even know that he personally was being investigated |

I also think Schleck has hit the barrier and i think we might see him lose a few places.
I hoped to see more of Cunego, and i wanted him to win it. He doesn' seem to get on the attacks and thats where he loses the time. |

By far the most likely for today is the scenario where Di Luca confirms his win once and for all, and Eddy cracks (like most people)
If he's to crack, it has to be today.
otherwise, it's about the fight for second place... |

Quote of PHg from the official forum:
Several Italian team managers have re-iterated that Eddy Mazzoleni should not have been allowed to race the Giro d'Italia, just like has been done with Fuentes-linked riders. Mazzoleni is to face charges in the Santuccione case and, according to the PT code of ethics, would not have been allowed race. However, as Astana is not part of the PT team association, they could not be forced to leave out Mazzoleni. |

And in addition to that:
Mazzoleni was the only one who openly spoke about epo in the tapped phone calls. The prosecution in Bergamo has been very slow, but now CONI have picked up on the case. |

Yep, he certainly is.
(Giro coverage has started on Eurosport. I had turned on my TV, found a channel showing cycling -- until I realized that I had landed on TV2 Sport which showed Tour of Belgium ) |
