A_Kolden can you tell me in what race did you take the picture from your avatar??
EDIT: forget I already know the answer... Tour de Romandie... I knew that yellow jersey was familiar
Exact, this photo was taken during 4th stage, and you can see Kreuziger behind

Giro d’Italia
Finaly the first Grand Tour of the season! Our main goal is not to screw things up this time and try the victory or something alike with Di Luca. He has showed in Switzerland that he is still a major threat for the Overall despite is 33 years. Nevertheless he is no Armstrong and the drugs can only play a small role in a rider performance. A team majorly constituted by climbers was sent to back him up whenever and wherever they can. With some luck and with the absence of Valverde in the race maybe we can bring back home the gayest shirt in Pro Tour!
When we arrived in Italy Di Luca called his friends who are experts in extortion and they were able to sack one of Dolce & Gabbana's finest stores and offer him the new maglia rosa. Now we are fully equiped to start the Competition. So let's ride and roll' B)
Prologue
Surprises ocurred right at the beggining of it with Nibali’s win and mainly by Riccò’s 2nd place!!
1 Vincenzo Nibali Liquigas 8'17
2 Riccardo Riccò Gerolsteiner + 12''
3 Benoit Vaugrenard Française des Jeux + 16''
4 José Rujano Caisse d'Epargne + 18''
5 Vladimir Karpets Caisse d'Epargne + 20''
6 Markus Fothen Gerolsteiner s.t.

Stage 3
A great day with lot of attacks and lots of spectators in the first climb of the day!
After the second Mountain Sprint Riccò made a fool attack with Kirchen and Schleck!
At the time it was Lampre who was in charge of the pursuit.
But they werent going nowhere so O’Grady showed them how it’s done( Gadret was so astonished he lost his head!)
Riccò was caught but insanely he attacked again. This time with Cunego!
It was time for the cavalry!
The team did their job very well and when it was time Di Luca went on to catch the fugitives. Many riders attacked after him.
A group was formed featuring Mollema, Di Luca, Sella, Simoni, Kirchen, Cunego, Capecchi, Pelizotti and Karpets. Riccò and Schleck missing! They were losing 45'' to the front man: Rujano!
Close to the summit Di Luca tried to reach Rujano!
He suceeded but then another avalanche of attacks in the downhill. The group was shattered as Simoni isolated himself at the front!
Di Luca was well positioned to get a Top5 spot in the final sprint!
Simoni was the winner and Di Luca 5th. Not a perfect stage but an oportunity to gain definitely some seconds to the other favorites.
Stage
1 Gilberto Simoni Quick•Step 3h33'59
2 Bauke Mollema Rabobank s.t.
3 Eros Capecchi Scott - American Beef s.t.
4 Emanuele Sella CSF Group - Navigare s.t.

7 Kim Kirchen Team Columbia s.t.
8 Franco Pellizotti Liquigas s.t.
9 Giovanni Visconti Quick•Step s.t.
10 Mikel Astarloza Euskaltel - Euskadi s.t.
But what?!? Oh noo! The stupid judges were scratching their ass when the final sprint was on.They decided to give the same time to everyone!! Go to the hell you moorons…

Giro d’Italia
After 3 boring days with victories by:
Boonen - Stage 4
Petacchi - Stage 5
Boonen - Stage 6
We were ready for the first decisive day!
Stage 7
At last a mountain stage and to screw everyone right from the very beggining there it is the Blockhaus arrival!! Only this time it's 222km length!!
Nibali had a puncture. Only J. Bellis remained with him which has tired him more than he wanted...
At the beggining of Passo Lanciano F. Schleck stormed in the bunch!
Cunego, Riccò and Di Luca were right on his tail!!
Chavanel joined the group but nobody wanted to waste energy .... Quickly the peloton merged with them. Uran was setting the pace..
Lampre took things into their own hands but Savoldelli was too slow for many riders. Kirchen was out to recover some lost time!! Di Luca was feeling strong today and so he tried to hold onto this attack!!
But in a glance of an eye Riccò bringing F.Schleck and Cunego...
More attacks followed but in the end the Stage was to be fought in a final sprint!
Cunego, Karpets e Astarloza were out of the discussion. Meanwhile Riccò was in a great position to get the victory!!
In the end it was him the o took it in front of Schleck!! Di Luca was fine even though he lost some seconds in the end ... Nothing to worry about at least yet and tomorrow we have good chances so... Nothing is lost until now let's hope we can take this good classification to Milano and try a better won if the chance pops up!!

Di Luca looking good.
Do you think you can beat Ricco?
And Cunego is not too far behind either. |
