Uhh...mike....did he actually say "No CSCs"? because one of the riders who was "randomly drawn" to be tested an absurdly high amount of times during the Tour was Cancellara.
Others included Ballan, Cunego, Riccò and Schumacher. |

i bet Bolt will be one of them
How will CERA benefit a 100/200 m. sprinter? Is it not an endurance drug?

No way junior
EPO is not a growth hormone.
So, let's see. if there will soon be a new test foor blood transfusions, and the Growth Hormone test is coming in January....
If those tests are reliable and they manage to make a more reliable EPO test than the ones currently in vogue......NO DOPING!!!
one can dream... |

It's a protein hormone. That might sound similar to Human Growth Hormone, but trust me, that's very different |

Erythropoietin (pronounced /ɨˌɹɪθɹoʊˈpɔɪɨtɨn/, /ɨˌɹɪθɹoʊˈpɔɪtən/, or /ɨˌɹiːθɹoʊ-/) or EPO is a glycoprotein hormone that controls erythropoiesis, or red blood cell production. It is a cytokine for erythrocyte (red blood cell) precursors in the bone marrow. Also called hematopoietin or hemopoietin,

Weel, it's the CSC spokesman who says that no CSC riders are involved, because none of them received that latter. But he doesn't know - he's just using the exclusion method (might be a bad translating from Danish to English ). |

AFLD is now saying that the riders who are being re-tested are the same riders as the ones who received the famous "your values are abnormal"-letter just before the Tour = no CSC riders.
Also, Rasmus Damsgaard has said that he'd have seen CERA in the tests if the CSC riders had used it.
In other related news, AFLD also says that they will soon be allowed to use a new test for blood doping, and that they have a number of riders under suspicion. He even says that they have a large amount of evidence on blood transfusions.
For the same reason, we'll soon see more positive tests, he says.
And since this thread is about Schumacher: Lefevere said yesterday that he'd rip the contract into pieces at 12:00 if he had not heard anything from Schumacher. But today, he's still not fired. Schumacher still claims that he hasn't heard anything from official people yet.
dammit i think that has to mean no one from CSC will be named surely damsgaard wouldnt say that unless he was sure he wasnt gonna get busted

...and thats a bad thing?
The blooddope test, if it happens, is a major breakthrough! Now they just need to figure out how the riders are tampering with their hematocrit readings?

notice i said i think.. lets not start the 42342409th argument on here about making doping accusations in the last month haha

It's nice that the AFLD seems to be working on the matter. But there's one thing I cannot undetstand. Why don't they wait untill they actually have something to announce, before announcing it. Are they a private institution needing the attention to get funded? Or, is there an hidden agenda about trying to scare off dopers, by saying they actually can test for this and that, when in reality they can't? The way things are going on now with rumours and speculations running wild, is simply not dignified. Not for the fans, nor for the riders. |

e-gads man, take it easy. There's no telling if it's true, much less has it come out at this early hour of the day.
The Piepoli and Schumacher news came out at the end of the afternoon, so you should aim for that
If it's announced, rest assured it'll be here quick |

Not only has Schumacher been tested positive twice - they've also found levidence after a raid in his house.
Schumacher will comment on everything tomorrow in a written statement. |

And his lawyer seems to be going on the same track as Landis': Is the test trustworthy?
*sigh*
He's guilty as hell. |
