Very grateful the commitment of an A team paid off. Some managers a lot less fortunate which hurts when committing to 21 days.
Kraftwerk managed 4 stage wins and 13 top 5s, held the yellow jersey for 17 stages and the green for 16 stages. 617 points is higher than my most optimistic estimate of 500. This was mainly due to Haller having a lot better performance than his favourite status suggested which I am very thankful for.
Pleased Nerz could double up as he declines next year but Haller has a couple of years left
I fee like Ranaweera definitley got the Zubeldia award here. I didn't realise it was possible for someone to race that badly and still get a top 10 GC.
Congrats to Kraftwerk, Haller and Nerz clearly love it in the Americas. I do think having good support helps although not a guarantee. So agree the success of Haller was the bigger surprise.
Hello Fresh go from strength to strength. Rest of CT relatively clustered. Undoubtedly the performance of Chaiysombat saved our bacon.
And still no rider from the Americas has won the ToA.
Very happy with the end result here. Nerz is no tt beast, but was still able to put significant time into Warchol in the TT K’s of which he just couldn’t make up in the mountains. The day Nerz cracked I thought could be it, but it seemed everyone was on their limits that day. Congrats to Dave on another ridiculously dominant all round showing here, I wonder if they can do 3 in a row ?
Page performed really well in the sprints fending for himself. This was one of his only opportunities this season as a free rider so he will have more freedom next season for sure. Hofer was plain disappointing - can’t be too disappointed with a random scrappy TT rider though.

Congrat on another dominating victory Dave. Impressive how you managed to even improve on last year's endeavour! Nerz was just a tank.
Decided to tale a gamble on Min, which proved absolutely fortunate. His final position seemed a bit overwhelming looking at how much he animated the race besides Novak. The random escapades of Christian and the lucky victory from Havik gave us some much needed entertainment as well. All in all a very decent race for us. I just wish I decided to ditch Euskal Bizikleta and bring better riders here like Goh and Bagioli.
