Yeah, okay, forgot that fact.
But merchandise and spectator-wise, AaB-FCK would be way more attractive.

Plus the fact that it would guarantee one danish team in the 1/4 finals, meaning more points for the UEFA coefficient = more teams in the European competitions.

Only the away game as I see it... I'm pretty sure AaB's stadium will be full no matter if the play City or FCK. They are now so far in the competition that even people outside Aalborg would go to see the matches, like we've seen with Brøndby, FCK and OB in those types of situation.
Obviously Manchester City has quite a big stadium, thus getting 50% to AaB or whatever the deal is, are better than FCK can produce. Not by a huge margin though, as Parken will probably host 25-30.000 people if FCK meets AaB.
But overall the benefit financial will be substancially bigger if AaB draws FCK, than with City. The simple fact that we will have another team in next round alone gives FCK 3-4 mil or so, and on top of that we are sure to have either FCK or AaB through, nationally speaking we will get somewhat 10-15mil more from a national class, than international + the sportive bet that we are sure to have a team in the quarter final, which we most probably won't have if City beats FCK. Then they should also beat AaB imo. |

It's not about filling up the stadiums.
If two Danish teams meet each other, there's probably not going to be a foreign tv channel which is willing to buy the match - and that's how you get the big bucks. Therefore, the match will only be transmitted by one tv channel.
However, if Manchester City wins, both Danish and British - maybe even more? - will be interested in the match and buy it, generating more income. |

Excellent goal by Juninho in Barca - Lyon!
I'm at work, so I've 6 tv screens at my disposal -- so currently watching Inter - United and Lyon - Barca. It's awesome! Especially because both matches have been very exciting so far. |

I think I'm going to cry....
We've completely dominated, missed 3 times 1vs1 with their keeper, we've had 64% possession of the ball, the referee "forgot" to send off 2 opposition players for 2 different fouls on our players who were going 1vs1 on the keeper, the other team have made 3 shots and we're losing 2-1.
I've been watching games regularly since 1996. I've never seen luck this bad
I literally feel physically sick.
Someone please shoot Howard Webb and take the brown bag from his pocket. please.

make that 5.....
oh god.....we're dominating so much, even Atletico fans are booing their own team. Aguero's substituted after 55 minutes having taken 0 shots on goal. ANd we're still losing....
sigh

Despite the fact that it ended 0-0, Inter - Man Utd was actually quite exciting. |

In any other given day I would say that drawing 2-2 in Madrid against Atletico was a good result. But not today... They were just lucky they didn't get trashed...
Oh, and Howard Webb has got to be the worst ref I've seen in a long time... Not just him, the entire team... 1 perfectly good goal disallowed, 3 goal opportunities for Porto turned into offensive fouls, etc...

Quite nerve-wracking too, in some moments. Inter had some good play in the second half, but Utd looked better overall. How they never scored in the first half I just don't know. |

Agreed. But then again, it's not exactly the first time this season that they have had trouble with scoring. It's pretty much every match . |

Yeah, I guess it's obvious Berbatov won't be the long-term goal scoring solution, and you can't really expect Ronaldo to repeat his feats from last year. Unless Wellbeck continues to develop, it looks like Fergie might have to think again come summer. It will still be a successful season for Utd, if only because their rivals domestically will insist on it. |

great matches yesterday, and from what I've heard, Atletico played so bad that it's amazing they didn't lose.
Lyon Barcelona was really a great match, but I think it's nearly lost for Lyon, with the match at Nou Camp, and the return of Iniesta...
Arsenal has taken a great chance to pass this round.
Goal of Juninho is amazing, but with Valdès When will Barça buy a high-level goalkeeper
And Crue True, you lucky, 6 tv screens at your disposal for Champions League evening B) |

Yeah, and I'm at work tonight too
Seriously speaking, the teams probably couldn't have been 'matched' any better. This round really is the beauty of Champions League
