is Danielson injured again? amazing, he's 31 or so and keeps missing the Tour...
Yup. He caught an infection a couple of weeks ago that he said in his Procycling magazine column had set him back quite a bit in his preparation |

So they are leaving out two of their best riders, David Zabriskie and Tom Danielson? Same tactics as Rabobank obviously |

For fuck sake have all managers gone mad?
What's next? Silence Lotto not selecting Cadel Evans because Evans has an annoying kiddie voice??

he's the sickest most injury prone rider since Andreas "I've never had a single healthy season in my career" Kloden.

Maaskant and Frischkorn? Maaskant had a good spring, but he's still very young for a grand tour. Fresh Corn is an unknown, I would have put Christophe Laurent before him. At least he has some experience. As for Zabriskie...too soon after his Giro crash. Danielson, I hope he dosen't kill himself over the on coming depression. Guy moves to a "domestic" squad expecting to be a leader and misses the only two grand tours the team is doing. at least he'll be fresh for Mt. Evans |

Can you really call Tom Danielson Slipstram's leader? He hasnt had a decent result since the Vuelta Espana in 2006.

No, you can't. At the beginning of the season I fully believe he expected to be a leader. At least that's what all the publications were putting out there. The guy is just plain unlucky! |

In addition to what COOP said.. AND he is not good enough to ever compete for a top 10 i GC in TdF .. Don't know what Lance Armstrong thought of when he said Danielson is a huge talent .. Danielson will never win a GT .. NEVER |

He missed his window. I think he could have competed for top 10, but that time has passed. That stomach junk he had for 2 years or something hit him when he should've been in his stage racing prime. Alas, the USA will have to wait for another great white hype... er I mean hope |

If Danielson ever was a tour hope, then so is Manuel Beltran |

Haha I'm with you on that one ..
I've never seen Danielson as a hope for a top 10 in TdF .. Not even when he was on top of his game .. |

I think Frishkorn is a good choice. Course a better choice woulda been Steve Cozza

This is going to be one interesting Tour... No real dominant team this year, should be CSC, but their captain sucks... So what will happen? Who will Evans suck onto to get his win? Menchov is all alone... |

Well as you say no domint TEAM .. we won't see a TdF like the armstrong days where his team CONTROLLED everything the entire tour..
Cadel Evans has a very stronger helper (Yaroslav Popovich) .. Probably one of the strongest helpers ..
Team CSC should have a great team but I really have my doubt about Carlos Sastre.. |

I am convinced that Caisse will be the dominant team this year. With Rodriguez, Gutierrez, Perreiro, Karpets and Valverde. Watch out.
Does anyone know who will ride for them? |
