He looks like a sad street magician which I'm guessing is along the same lines as you are hinting at

I'd expect to find him sitting in the street with a bottle of wine in a brown paper bag |

1950s pimp, MAFIA style...but i love it, since it shows again that he has some personality and sense of humour, which is in brutal contrast to usual boring PR driven perosnalities of other cycling stars.

Now that is really you not being well educated in latest fashion trends mate, because for some two years now, the short trousers, compared with distinct socks (preferably red) are the biggest thing you can wear for special events. It looks silly, i agree, but it is spot on with latest trends.

Seems we have a third major lottery-sponsored team, with Roompot confirmed as becoming Team Roompot - Nederlandse Loterij.
24/02/21 - kandesbunzler said “I don't drink famous people."
15/08/22 - SotD said "Your [jandal's] humour is overrated"
11/06/24 - knockout said "Winning is fine I guess. Truth be told this felt completely unimportant."

3 days to RCS will reveal the Giro-route.
Needless to say, it will be levels above the Tour. The Giro organisers have gotten it right the last few years (especially in 2015) and we are about to see some pretty juicy stages, I think. Especially the stage to Bormio over Mortirolo, Umbrail and Stelvio (hard side) will be a goodie. |

The route has already been leaked, with a stage combining two accents of the Stelvio. Last stage does go to Milan contrary to rumours, but instead of a sprint stage it'll be a time trial!
Very exciting, going to be a spectacular giro, even though that last stage is not to the advantage of my favourite, Chavito |

More important will be the line up. Has there been any word on any of the truly big names being tempted to ride the 100th edition?
I think Froome may have been tempted if he had won the Vuelta as he could have held all 3 grand tours at the same time. Now I don't think he'll bother. Quintana will be putting everything into the Tour having beaten Froome in Spain. Contador is running out of TdF's and may not want to jeopardize his form in July for the Giro.
Even Chaves may be encouraged by his form this year and put everything into the Tour.
It could be a case of Nibali Vs Aru.
