I can live with being called a fanboy when saying Quintana is the best pure climber in the peloton if his answer is this.
I know, its early, Froome isnt here etc., but holy shit a performance where everyone else were pretty equal.
Edit: Kadtaganero probably was right about the crash and him training in some ridicolous hard mountains leading up to T-A. Odds 11 at Nairo seems like a good bet now!
But Froome is still the strongest in the universe
Quintana can win stage race as Froome not take part in. If Contador is marked by a crash.

Just admitting when you're wrong makes you look less like an idiot.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Quintana, why do you live in a mountain? Loved it, really loved it!

Quintana is in very good shape that will be great for the tour. I really don't see Alberto Contador winning both the Giro and the Tour.
What's happening with Nibali that get dropped every time in mountain. That's kind of a shame that's him that won the last Tour. |

Doesn't mean that much, really. Remember Dauphiné last year and TdF afterwards. |

There is soooo much time until tour 3rd. week. Contador can not ride both tour in peak.
Anyway Quintana has something that is poison for Contador.
Contador can follow Froome...so far never Quintana. |

Right? I feel the same. When it comes to Froome, Contador can actually do "something" but when it comes to Quintana, he seems to freeze Guido Mukk wrote:

Contador beat Quintana twice in last year's Tirreno-Adriatico. |

Cort is a massive talent. 6th and 4th on two sprint stages, and he is not even a pure sprinter. First season in the World Tour. |

Hopefully Ciolek sees this as a confident booster and not a knock to confidence. He really has what it takes to be up there in WT races, he just needs the mentality to back himself.

It was indeed nice to see Ciolek up there. But it was obvious that he does no longer has such a high speed. In a reduced field, he will always be good, which obviously might help him in MSR again.
But he is just neither a real classic rider nor a sprinter. So this hurts his palmares a lot. A handful of podiums and a good MSR does not really is enough for a rider of his potential.
But still one of my favourite riders. So I hope to see him very high up there in MSR as also in other races this season. |
