Now KOM game I'm up to 2nd in the overall but still regretting not getting the Konig transfer in on time for Friday's stage...although just realised the prize for winning is a cycling holiday in the Pyrenees...2nd is probably for the best Edited by ianrussell on 19-07-2014 20:22
23rd in the Daily league. So far Ion Izagirre and Rolland have been the only two in my team who could have ridden much better and it seems Rolland may come good by the end of the race anyway.Degenkolb was a terrible use of points but has still brought in over 150 and Demare should have been better but is still at 220. Remarkably I still have 9 riders in the race!
Ok so I'm dropping like a stone in the meaningful, main game...but in the Mickey Mouse KOM game I just went first overall with some very good luck courtesy of Rogers and Voeckler
Plenty will no doubt go wrong yet but, should this persist might it feel like winning the Carling Cup (UK football fans) or perhaps the 3rd place World Cup playoff (international football fans)?
Also can I pedal uphill for an hour should I win a Pyrenean cycling holiday anyway?

9 of the top 11 in the KOM competition today - I think I might have just won a Pyrenean torture trip...not sure quite how to feel about that if it plays out.
