Second rider of the worst team of the tests.
Can we also have a reversed ranking, where you get the most points with the last position? |

Dunemonte up to fourth is good, looks like De Forest should have a nice first year. Not a bad result in the end.
Now for racing. Looking forward to Silverstone. |

Race Masters Evolved - 2014 Start List
With the final test just behind us it's time to announce the Start List. It's the first season so we don't have a ranking from last season to give the start numbers, so we just give them in alphabetical team order. We don't want any trouble with start number 13 so that's why we skipped it. Well, let's go to Silverstone!
1. | Timothy Raue | Angelo Racing | 2. | Kurt Jensson | Angelo Racing | 3. | Sebastian Schumacher | Antlers | 4. | Joe Armstrong | Antlers | 5. | Johan van de Berg | De Rooij Racing | 6. | Francois Botha | De Rooij Racing | 7. | Dominic De Forest | Dunemonte | 8. | Autumn Keselowski | Dunemonte | 9. | Martin Lloyd | Grove Motorsports | 10. | Ounheua Khochaleune | Grove Motorsports | 11. | Antonio Panico | Mazzilionia Racing | 12. | Moreno Costa | Mazzilionia Racing | 14. | Paul Rosanski | Mohn Rennsport | 15. | Justin Clark | Mohn Rennsport | 16. | Nick van der Valde | Rantosa Racing Team | 17. | Gilberto Coutinho | Rantosa Racing Team | 18. | Ricciardo Gambino | Travinski Racing | 19. | James Day | Travinski Racing | 20. | Seamus Doherty | Wolf Motorsports | 21. | James Harden | Wolf Motorsports | 22. | Jakab Zoltan | Yaktutoka | 23. | Arie DePalma | Yaktutoka |

In airplanes they usually also skip the 17. It was obvious that Coutinho would get that number.
The manager of Coutinho asks the Race Management if they want to have trouble with the number 17, if they don't want to have any with 13. If Coutinho will fail this season his atorneys will sue the management.
..
Great to have something else other than the shitty cars to blame for what is coming. |

Why do they skip number 17 in airplanes? And btw in Formula 1 they didn't skip it (till last year, because this year everyone may choose his start number).

your 13? if the 13 would be there, i would have it because i have #14 atm...
Could we have personal numbers by season 2? because then, we´ll have a ranking for who can pick the number first^^

17 is only missing on certain airlines, normally from Brazil and Italy where 17 is considered unlucky. Stems from the Latin depiction XVII, which can be rearranged to VIXI meaning "I have lived" so related to death/dying

It's also considered an unlucky number. I don't know why though. |

Explains enough. If you guys want we maybe could have personal start numbers next season, but that's after fourteen races. Great-Britain Preview is coming up!

Race Masters Evolved - Race 1 - Silverstone - Preview
Number of laps: 30
Welcome everyone to the first race of the new race league Race Masters Evolved. This weekend we’ll start the season here at Silverstone. Hopefully it’ll be a great season and we all can’t wait until it has started. This weekend we can finally see the drivers in action, and we’ll see who’ll take the first pole and, even more important, the first victory.
Here’s the map of the Silverstone circuit with the distance and the number of curves. It’s a circuit where you can overtake well. The Wellington Straight and the Hanger Straight are the best places to overtake, but Vale, Abbey and Copse Corner are good as well. For drivers with big balls there’s Maggots and Becketts. Not impossible but a risk. Many DNF’s are expected during the season, so the slower teams have their chances in some races.
The Favourites
After the final test it looks like Mazzilionia Racing, Mohn Rennsport and Antlers will be the best teams on the grid. It’s likely that the winner of this race will come from one of these teams. Antonio Panico and Moreno Costa have the best cards. Mazzilionia Racing was the fastest at the final tests so everyone will look at them. In their shadow Mohn Rennsport and Antlers will try to attack. But we may not forget that they’ll fight with each other as well, because Antlers is still angry on Mohn Rennsport because Mohn signed Clark while Antlers wanted to contract him. That will be interesting as well.
The Dark Horse
Dunemonte looks like the dark horse of the season. There was a gap between Dunemonte and the first three teams but it’s likely that Dunemonte could follow them during the season. It will be very interesting how they’ll start the season here at Silverstone. Travinski Racing and Wolf Motorsports could surprise as well, but they’re not as continuous as Dunemonte. The other teams, Angelo Racing, Grove Motorsports, De Rooij Racing, Yaktutoka and Rantosa Racing Team, may be happy when they’ll score points.
The Local Heroes
The public here will be cheering on Justin Clark, who’s the only British driver on the grid of this race league. With three races British races it’s a nice calendar for Clark, who’ll drive for the German team Mohn Rennsport. Mohn seemed to be very fast at the final test so Clark maybe could go for the podium, which would be very nice for him and the British public. There’s also a chance that Seamus Doherty has some fans here, because it’s also a bit his home race. It’ll be interesting to see how many people are cheering on him.
The Local Teams
Great-Britain is the country with the most teams in this league. They have two teams, Antlers and Grove Motorsports. Antlers seemed to be very fast, while Grove fell back during the tests. Unfortunately they both don’t have a British driver, but who cares. It’d be nice when they both perform well here at their home race. Antlers could probably go for the victory, which would be great for the team and the British public.
The Drivers Opinions and Expectations
Sebastian Schumacher: “The first race is always special and I have the luck to race it in the Home of British Motor Racing in a British car. This just has to be the perfect start for a great career. The car had a good speed in most of the tests and this should definitely help us here with some beautiful high-speed parts and the great combo around Becketts corner which is adored by most drivers. One can’t hate this circuit so I'm glad that we are allowed to race it twice this year!”
Arie DePalma: “It's the seasonopener and it's at silverstone. I don't really like the circuit. I have raced there before and especially the Maggotts/Becketts sequence isn't really to my liking. Other than that I don't mind it very much. Luttfield and Woodcote is kinda fun though.”
Paul Rosanski: “I do like Silverstone. It is a pretty fast circuit. I especially like the Maggotts & Becketts combination. Also Copse is one of my favourite corners, because you need some balls to drive it flat out. I do not like the Club corner. It is very awkward and tricky to drive, because you have some bumps while accelerating.”
Justin Clark: “I can't wait to get the racing underway and what better place to do it than here in Silverstone. Being the only British driver will mean a lot of pressure on me from the media and the fans, especially after our good form in the pre-season tests, but I love that. Mohn Rennsport are just looking for a solid start with both of us comfortably in the points. Anything better than that would be great but it's impossible to tell exactly where we are compared to our rivals until after Qualifying. I'm delighted that Mohn gave me a chance and I really hope to repay them with some strong individual performances, as well as helping my teammate Paul as much as possible.”
Francois Botha: “Opening the season with this circuit should be a good chance for the drivers to show themselves. A few nice long straights and some difficult corners should prove to be a nice test first up. I am looking forward to this race and to the rest of the season.”
Ounheua Khochaleune: “I think Silverstone is a great place to race, as it has a lot of history. I've never been there myself, actually this'll be my very first trip to Europe. I'm so excited the season finally begins, but I'm also disappointed the Laotian national television won't cover any of the races. Anyway, I'm ready to shine.”
Gilberto Coutinho: “I'm looking forward to the racing, but not so much to the British food.”
Seamus Doherty: “In my opinion, Silverstone is quite an interesting track, with lots of different possibilities. There's a nice mixture of tricky turns and long straights, so having our car set up well will be elementary. Of course the fans here are always great, and I hope to see a few Irish flags around too.”

I think I'm gonna root for Botha right now haha.

Too right about the local hero. The first official Justin Clark Fan Club is coming down to Silverstone and will be at the final corner on Raceday. There are already upwards of 4 members.
EDIT: I love that sig now Paul. Really nice.

@pcm2009fan: Thanks, I'll edit it.
@Paul23: No, it's not that I'll only race on sunday. At PCM you also don't post the stage from that date.
