It was a good race to watch. Unfortunately the Mercedes were a little bit faster than the Williams, but a nice podium for Bottas. Would've been nice if Massa was on the podium as well. Hoped that Hamilton would finish in front of Rosberg but unfortunately Rosberg once again takes seven points. PĂ©rez did well to go from 15th to 6th. All by all it hasn't been a bad race at all. And nice trophies indeed, and Mark Webber doing the podium interviews.

New rules anounced by FIA:
After a safety car the restart won't be a rolling start but a start from the grid (well why don't they just give a red flag instead of a safety car? Much easier)
The drivers may only use four engines a season instead of five.
The teams may use only one wind tunnel instead of more.
These are only some of them. You can see the full list over here: https://www.fia.com/news/world-motor-s...014-munich

"A number of new regulations for the noses to ensure improved safety and to provide more aesthetically pleasing structures."
I guess Caterham wouldn't be allowed to race because their car is ugly as hell.

No excactly F1-news, but some what relevant. I'm back in the house where I grew up and I found my old N64 with the 1997 game "F1 World Grand Prix". Ah, fond memories.
I was just a kid when I got it so I didn't know what the words in english ment (exhibition mode, etc.) so I just pressed random stuff and always ended up racing the Australian GP at Albert Park. I knew the course like my own pocket!
There's a fine line between "psychotherapist" and "psycho the rapist"

currently red flag at the british Grand Prix. Massa saved Raikkonen from a major (perhaps even lethal) injury
if Massa didn't pull his car sideways

That was a very hard crash from Raikkonen indeed and a great action from Massa, but unfortunately they both were out of the race.
Great victory for Hamilton and this time the luck was on his side, with Rosberg DNF. But his team really f*cks up his pit-stops and they don't do it at Rosberg. And Hamilton only four points behind now while he has one DNF more than Rosberg.
Also nice to see Bottas on a second place after yesterday's disaster and I really hoped Button would overtake Ricciardo for third but unfortunately he couldn't. The battle between Alonso and Vettel was a nice one as well but imo Vettel wasn't between the white lines at Copse after he overtook Alonso. I'm not sure but I thought he was with four wheels outside it, and the race stewards were very strict about the track limits this weekend so if I saw it right he could get a penalty. But all by all it was a great race.

Absoloute joke said it early on Ros will be lucky, this will be so funny watching the fake WC end of season. Two failures in Q1 is ridicolous, some mechanic is woefully inept they reckon it was mechanic error today atleast. |

like having a failure in Q1 and starting at the back hurts at all within two/three laps strong riders (like Hamilton this year, like Vettel in brasil) they are back at the front.

Except that this is the Hungaroring, one of the thougest circuits to overtake. He'll have a real trouble to get the podium, maybe even top 5.
Anyway, it's just bad luck. Why would Mercedes harm Hamilton? If you think that, you're an idiot. Tomorrow, Vettel or Ricciardo will win, since neither of the Mercedes will finish the race. |

@sutty68: Indeed, and it's almost the whole season that Hamilton has the bad luck. Hope for him to have a good race today.
Talking about today's race: I've heard that it'll be a rain race. If that's true it'll be an awesome race.

Cannot believe the Mercedes team wanted Hamilton to let Rosberg pass him |

It was tactically a perfect call. He was on a different strategy, and if Hamilton let him through he could have won. There was no way he could have overtaken him, so basically he ruined Rosberg's race, which was already ruined by the safety car. He didn't let him past because he doesn't want him to win, but thats sort of stupid when they are on the same team, and the fact Rosberg has been asked the same thing and normally complies, unlike Hamilton.
What impressed me was Rosberg's attitude afterwards. I can imagine Hamilton probably would have been fuming, and often is in the post race interview, which is understandable if he was in Rosberg's situation, but stupid in a stituation like Monaco, where there was little to be annoyed about. |
