@T-Photon, Yes it was the developer team size. If you have no desire to port i understand the choice, though it would be the first cycling managment game for Linux and Mac if you did.
Well, good luck! You certainly need ambition and guts to undertake such a big project with the team size. I will back you at kickstarter when the time comes ;-) |

Another small idea: could you make the maximum squad size of 30 riders free to edit?
I ask because I'd like both of the following ideas:
- palying with small teams may prove more challenging and more selective
- playing with huge teams provides the opportunity to develop young talents and still be able to send strong squads to the Grand Tours.
What do you think? |

30 rider's is the limit. Or better, 28 rider's is the limit IIRC and two stagiaires during August make the 30 rider. So I think that stagiaires should be improved. |

I think the team size should be like in real life, I don't see why it should be any different. It's easy to develop talents and still send a strong squad to GTs in PCM already now, so I don't think that needs any change.
One thing that I've been thinking about is the possibility of hiring retired riders as sports directors or in other functions on your team. I'm a huge fan of the Schleck brothers, so if I have a great career going and they retire, I could hire them as sports directors or talent scouts for example, and their careers in cycling would live on, just like many former riders decide to do in real life. |

I'm playin' PCM since the beggining of the "saga" (long before the "Pro" and one of the things that kept me faithfull to the game (besides lovin' cycling) was the feelling of "on-time live control" of my riders and their actions. Seein' it happen is a majos PLUS for me, and i hope you guys don't make this project too "FM look-a-like".
I've heard in this thread some suggestions (that i obviously respect) of makin' the game more of a manager game then it is now. I get it, but it would be very desapointing if you took the focus out of the 3d experience.
I agree with you all that a more realistic career mode would be awsome but, PLEASE, be aware for not producing some "arcade-manager-game" where you play as Benfica Manager (FM, of course), you refuse some ridiculous offer for Matic, way below the 25M€ , from a mid table french, or german, team and the player gets disappointed (by default when the manager refuses anything), and plays like a granny for the rest of the season.
My example is a bit extreme, but my point is, dont ruin the game by putting too much enphasis on the prima-donnas.
3D-wise, it would be GOLD if you can put an option for your team to organize together, as in a real mountain stage, where you have, Kennaugh, Kiryenka, Uran, Porte, Froome in order. Today we can only put one rider protecting another, and that's it. It would be great if you can follow a team mate ALWAYS instead of the last 12k in a flat stage.

Thanks for answering the questions and keeping us up to date T-Photon. Interesting that you're not doing a language "port" to what I assume is your native tongue to start with, but I see your goal now is to get something working on the table to start getting some support.

Allright all this feedback and support is really overwhelming, ty so much guys this project would never be possible without this great community.
on to the questions:
- Regarding 3D suggestions, i will look into it but it is to early to make any promises.
- Rider cap at 30, tbh i hate static numbers like that so i will probably allow it to be adjusted in the Database some years ago the limit was 28 and others years it was 25 so i think it has to be adjustable to suit DB makers that create historical DB's.
- On 3D versus Manager: rest assured i want both parts in my game and i will make sure they both meet a decent quality that we all find enjoyabledo i want to create the best manager game yet? certainly but i want a decent 3D mode as well
- On the lack of danish: yeah its kinda funny but everything we do has always been in english - better keep it that way for now.

I have a idea to the game, but I don't know, if somebody already have ask/Say it.
But what about a Idea, where a Rider dosen't like a trainer, manager or like that.. But a team want him, but on the team there is some of the one he dosen't like. So he dosen't want to join, or something like that will be nice.
Another is; A rider has in a young age make a big result, but now he are just not that anymore.. Maybe he can be it, but right now he just can't win or drive good.. Like Madden, Fifa and that kind of games.

Awesome I mostly know it from FM, where I think it is an awesome feature It really gives the game a realistic feeling
Also, I urge you to give staff members more stats than they have now. Maybe a stat for motivational skills, tactical sense, dealing with primadonnas etc |

@bastian: that mechanic you try to describe is essential so you can expect that from the game
@elmaestro: we are exploring ways to increase the staff section beyond the classical roles like coach, doctors and scouts. The game might end up including staff roles like:
- Sport Directors
- Mechanics
- Soigneurs

Any thoughts on how large a role the National Coach features should play out in the game?
of course theres olympics this time around, but is everyone happy just to select preliminary rosters during the season and then leading the team in-game or do you want more managing?
