We are glad that Pérez has finally shown his capabilities and continues the recent excellent shwoings of Cartoon Network. Unfortunately in the end, Felline was too strong for us but nonetheless our team fairs solid in this week and hope to take this recent string of success into the last week. Navarro climbs up to 17th overall.

We have passed the first gravel section and we have a 14 man break formed with 150 kilometres to go. The riders are: Offredo, Rabon, Hondo, Eijssen, Askari, Vilela, Bauer, Kaisen, Morkov, Scognamiglio, Ostergaard, de la Fuente, Clement and Augustyn.

The rarely used road surface caused many accidents.

Although Boeing and Semen Indonesia were working tirelessly on the front, with 28 kilometres to go the gap to the break is at 3'13.

Kaisen decides enough is enough. Having looked in great shape all day the German attacks his breakaway companions with 17 kilometres to go and with the peloton at 2'21. The rest of the break just watch each other and it is not long before they are caught leaving Kaison out front.

Gadret and Verdugo attack with 15 kilometres to go, but would they catch the German?.....

No, instead they are caught by a large group of favourites with 7 kilometres to go and Kaisen still out front with 1'00 over the group, riding strongly.

Kaisen has won the Strade Bianchi........stage. It was a solid ride by the German who was on a good day. The 1st stage win for T-Mobile. Boeing move into the UC lead showing they are much more prepared than the opposition after packing the top 15 with riders.

So, you've gone from putting five pre-race favorites to three...why not change it to one! We know who would win every stage anyways.
