@Ian Butler: It's Better when it's official Grin

@sutty68: Thanks Grin and well 1 3 4 5 in the French Cup that's Great Wink

@Shonak: As it's part of his learning, yes he will try to defend his title but he may not race all the 16 races.

Race Report:

Big Names of sprinters were here and this means that Arnaud was just an Outsider, we let Argos and OmegaPharma took the control of the pack so we saves some energy that we could use in the last kilometers.

I was part of the lead out for Arnaud but Cavendish was faster than anyone, he took the win in front of Ben Swift (SKY) and Marcel Kittel (ARG).
Arnaud took the 4th position.

Race Report:

The race was long and the finish was quite difficult to handle. A group of 4 riders attacked in the last small hill but only one managed to really create a gap with the pack. Behind him the chase was not very well organized and the gap was constantly growing. The fact that the man was no one but Fabian Cancellara and the pack was already fighting for the second position.

It's Alexander Kristoff who ruled the sprint but Spartacus had already arrived.

This is it, my season is over. I will take some rest before going to some cyclocross.

I will start training but the end of November but until then I have some deserved holidays to take.

Anthony Louveille.

3 Days in Roubaix

By the end of November, the staff organized a training camp in Roubaix for every one who wanted to go there. The aim of the training camp was to meliorate our Time Trial position on the bike and some test on cobblestones.

I immediately book a spot there because I want to perfect that particular skills.

I had some test on the Stab' Velodrome for the aerodynamic (very interesting) and I also learned who too go faster with a time trial bike.

the last I went on the cobblestone of the "Carrefour de l'Arbre" to do some tests about bike vibration and the feeling of this by the riders. The weather was awful but I think that this will be very useful for my future.

During the camp we took some pics so here they are:

i1272.photobucket.com/albums/y382/Axel_Choteau/Anthony/2013/42%20Roubaix/PCM0002_zps51f7aec4.jpg
thanks to the velodrome owner who let us ride on the track with our time trial bikes.

As I said, the weather was really, really awful.

This camp was also the way for me to show that I was ready for Paris - Roubaix

Happy Holidays

First I'd like to wish you the best for the next year.

Then concerning the story, you might have realized that it was not going on since some times. The main reason is because I have my studies that take an important place in my time and then I think I might wait January to start the season 2014, so I can make all the correct transfers to have a 2014 season starting like the real one.

Season Planning

We are not in 2014 yet and I'm already making plans for the 2015 season. I've just learned that my school had selected me for a big and important project for me but it would mean no racing from November 2014 to July 2015. My contract is not yet renew and this is not an easy thing to ask when I'll sign the contract. I've already explained my problem to Marc and Yvon (Madiot) and they understood the importance of the project. They are some available solutions but I will have to confirm my great start by having consistent results in 2014.

On another hands, the sponsor revealed our jersey for the next season, quite the same but with ".fr" add at the back.

imageshack.us/a/img819/3641/s86x.png

And Finally, during the training camp in Brittany, I had a long talk with my managers and coaches about my season plan, I will start in the Grand Prix Cycliste la Marseillaise, I will then go to the Tour Méd and the Tour du Haut Var. The Belgian opening week-end and then a big step in my career, Paris - Nice.
I'm also sure to ride the four Cobbled Classics and at list one of In late April. (not the Amstel Gold Race as I will race the Tro-Bro Léon).

Hopefully that school project won't interfere with Anthony winning the French Cup again Wink it would take quite the opening half of the year.

I predict top 10s in both the Ardennes classics and a repeat in Tro-Bro Leon

@welker3257: Well this is still 9 month without racing. and about the Ardennes, I will only race one of this two races but it has not been decided which one yet Wink

@SSJ2Luigi: I know the jersey did not change much but I can't do much about that Wink

And I'm only 20, I'll still have plenty of time to come to hooland Grin

Team Presentation

Yesterday was held a press conference were the team presented its squad and objectives for next season. I was there too but the meeting was not really interesting, it was a lot of numbers, many talking and hand shakes, and I had an interview for a national newspaper (L'Équipe).

We presented our new jersey and we've all been presented to the press. There are few changes this year in the team ; Sandy Casar retired last year, and Emilien Viennet went to BigMat - Auber93.

The incomings are Sébastien Chavanel the former Europcar Rider and Pierre-Henri Lecuissinier (Neo-Pro).
