Race Schedule: EPIC boys
Ok boys and girls,
here we have your temporary race schedule. Feel free to make suggestions, however we can't promise anything at this late point.
Mitchell Birt
Sine you are one of the best GC riders in our squad, we'd like you to ride the Österreich Rundfahrt in preparation of Vuelta a Espana. You said you wanted to do a Grand Tour and here it is, like we promised. The Österreich Rundfahrt however will be important, where we count on you to fulfill our easy goal of Top 15. In Spain, you'll be in a free role and certainly will hopefully achieve similiar things like in California a few weeks back. However, our focus also lies on achieving a Top 10 result there and right now, Leopold is our best bet for that. We're sure you understand and we're confident that Leopold can count on your support throughout the three weeks.
You then have two race days left, and you'll take part in the two beautiful italian one-day classics Milano-Torino (steephill finish!) and Giro del Piemonte.
Ioannis Dimitriou
Everything a'right in Greece? We havn't heard from you in a while, but hey - the racing never stops, does it? (Except in season breaks of course)
Just like Mitchell, you'll ride Österreich Rundfahrt. The austrian mountains should suit your legs and type of climbing. You'll take part in Tour of Pologne, some decent climbs provide plenty opportunitiy for you to try your luck. Our goal is a Top 10 though, and we hope you support your captain there.
Since stage races are so awesome, you'll then travel to Spain, to race Vuelta a Burgos. Your season comes to an end in the one-day classics Paris-Bruxelles and Milano-Torino.
Heimdal Hägg
Ah, our golden breakaway boy, a specialist in achieving the impossible Top 10s. We know of your talents and we hope that our race selections will provide you with plenty chances of breakaways and eager fights.
You'll kick off in Belgium, at the Tour of Wallonie. Straight afterwards, you head to the other side of Europe, to race Tour of Pologne.
From there on out, there'll be a bit of a break for you. Your season continues at Tour of Britain, where the race profile definitely comes in handy. Our goal is a stage win there, maybe we hit the jackpot?
After Paris-Tours, you'll finish your season in China at the Tour of Hainan.
Alberto Juarez
Aye, Alberto. We know of your strenghts but well, there arn't too many mountain time trials around. But there are climbs, and plenty of it!
Like your peers, you'll start in Austria at the Österreich Rundfahrt. Like Ioannis, you then head to Poland afterwards for the Tour of Pologne.
Since there's never enough racing to be done, we pack on top of that a little trip towards your home. Well, almost to your home. The USA Pro Cycling Challenge is a perfect opportunity to show those gringos how to properly race!
You then come back to Europe for Milano-Torino, whilst eventually earning the title of a true globe trotter by competing in the Tour of Beijing. Happy travels!
Dermot Walker
Well, well... Dermot. Tour de Wallonie and Danmarkt Rundt will be your starting point into this last season part. As usual, we count on your young legs and our "first blood"-attitude. You know, first attack on the first day.
Afterwards, you'll get chance to impress some of those london girls at the Ride London Survey Classic. And if you find a girl to keep, you might see her again at the Tour of Britain, where we hope that you (or one of your fellow sprinter companions) achieves a stage win. Fingers crossed!
If you accidentally pissed off one of the girls, don't worry. We have the perfect excuse for you: You have to travel to China - yup, the Tour of Beijing is waiting... super important Tour of Beijing. At least as a little compensation, you'll get to ride a true classic as season finish: Paris-Tours
So that's about it for you hopeful bunch of future EPIC greats. Let us know if you like your planning or want to change something. In any case, all the best in your respective races and see you roadside!

Thanks for the info boss but I'm a bit confused. Danmark and RideLondon are at the same time and I couldn't work out whether I'm supposed to be doing Paris Tours or Beijing. Got to get that right or it could be a serious waste of air miles .
I also promised the fitness coach that I wouldn't mess around with other girls, so I'm on my best behaviour. Honest.

Right, that comes from doing all-nighters. But no, actually, this was of course a test for you Dermot, to see if you really read our messages. Obviously, you have passed easily. Bravo!
But the bad thing about is: We really want to send you to China, so you'll be going to the Tour of Hainan as the season finish. (And no, it's not like we want to try our own luck with the coach in your absence...). Hainan is a super flat route most of the time, so your Crit excellence should come in handy. You'll also race Giro dell Emilia ahead of Paris-Tours.
All the best and sorry for the mix-up!

Hi Boss!
Cool that I' get to see even moe of the world in the last part of the sason snd I look forward to every single day of racing.
I do however wonder if I have managed to forget having raced somewhee as my calculations say that the raced you mentioned will put me on 60 racedays for the season?
Anyway if a spot opens up anywhere I'll be happy to jump in.
~ Heimdal
By the way here are what I have noted down about my season:

Aha! I noted Pologne and Hainan as 8 respective 9 race days, so those are the missing two race days I think?

I fear we may have a problem.
I mixed up Hainan for Taihu Lake as I couldn't find Hainan on the calendar (and still can't).
Pologne is 7 stages though (2 flat, 2 hilly, 2 mountain, 1 ITT)

I couldn't find Hainan either, I just took it from Ollfardhs race calendar. Guess he actually means Taihu Lake.
I guess, it'll be then really 60 race days. Add Piemonte and Emilia to that?

It's the race Hofland won last year, a 2HC race. Is it not available in game?

Shonak: Any race with a spot is fine with Heimdal
Ollfardh: It's not in the base DB no. I remember the sillyness of the results very well though
Silvio: The problem is more that it doesn't seem to have been made for PCM...
Unless it's in PCM14?

No worries. Taihu Lake as replacement then, it is? It's basically the same race anywayz, flat like Etxebarria on the bike.

Oh didn't know that. I was sure every HC-race were in the expansion pack like Ollfardh said
Will it be called Hainan then with Hainan's date or will we totally replace it then?

If it's the same racedays, we'll just call it Hainan

Taihu is 8 racedays while Hainan is 9. I suppose we could add another flat stage from the DB and just pretend this never happened...
I'll find a suitable flat stage from one of the Tour of China's and add that as stage 9 as well as renaming the race in the DB and then no one needs to know anything
