After a lengthy investigation, Turkish police have arrested the man who hacked photographers' computers and deleted all pictures of the second half of cycling's Tour of Turkey.
The man's name is Brian Pinter. He originates from London, England and currently works in a call center in the Turkish capital of Ankara. Police have charged him with 2 weeks in prison and a $3000 fine.
Two riders commented on the matter, they were overall winner Kiel Reijnen and best young rider Fabio Melani.

I'm glad that this man has finally been caught. It's a disgrace what he's done and he deserves to be punished. We [the riders] give the races our all and we want to have pictures to put up on the wall at home. I'm delighted to get the GC [overall time ranking] win, but it's a shame that I don't have the official pictures to show for it.

This man is a disgrace, and I am glad he's caught [sic]. For me it's my first ever jersey [win in a classification] and I am very proud of my achievement. But, it is bad of course to have no pictures for me to celebrate. Especially the photos of us [the riders] actually on the road are a grand loss because usually fans don't take those pictures. It is something that I want to show my grandkids as they say, but I have no good photos to show. Anyway, it's good that [this] man is in jail and has been fined.

Not a stage which you would expect to cause much trouble. Still, Duarte is the favourite with Chalapud 6th and Atapuma 7th.
There was a break of 3 riders, from which Mironov (RVL) won both the intermediate sprint and Cat. 3 climb.
There was no pace from the peloton! The break had 10'46" with 86.3km left, so Suarez and Valencia paced. The latter didn't do much, but Suarez certainly did!
A group of 12 got away from the peloton on the Cat. 2 because of his pace. From back to front, they were:
Frapporti (AND)
Langlois (GQC)
Fraile (CJA)
Farabaugh (GQC)
Ospina (AND)
Duque
Drucker (AJW)
Scheirlinckx (AJW)
Duarte
Chalapud
Atapuma
Suarez
The peloton came really close at one point, and the AJW and GQC guys dropped off the back of the group. Making it 8 chasing the breakaway. Mironov (RVL) also won the Cat. 2.
Our guys who remained in the bunch got dropped on a split, but I was determined to ride back.
And I did!
The 8-man groupetto got caught when Suarez got tired.
Mironov (RVL) won the Cat. 2 as well!
As I said, the peloton wasn't pacing at all, and I found it easy to simply ride away from them.
They still didn't work though! With 25km to go for the breakaway they had 3'12", while I was chasing them solo at 1'21".
Suarez was getting water, and with the instructions to bring it to everyone, he tried to ride up to me! He stopped, but did get clear of the peloton.
I caught 2 of the breakaway riders, while the Russian Rocket was now ahead. So, I simply kept riding.
I was following Mironov, but he was the only better sprinter than me in that group. I was wondering about whether to attack or not, as he must've been tired and no-one wanted to lead-out the sprint.
But just after that picture was taken the sprint started. I knew I had to hold on for just the right amount of time. Too late and I was screwed, and too early and I was screwed.
And... I was screwed. I held off too late as I was scared of running out of energy. I had more after crossing the line. FUUUUUUUUUU
Somehow Mironov managed to win the intermediate sprint, all the climbs AND the stage. Dope much? (Just kidding, great ride man!)
Dal Santo (CEF) came 5th, while Suarez was 8th.
Thanks for reading! What a day! Tomorrow I should be able to take yellow, but then can I hold it? We'll find out, but until then...

So guys, I'm going to write a report now, but expect it to be the last one for 2 weeks. Exams start next week on Friday and end on the following Wednesdau. I hope you haven't lost interest, as after that the reports should come thick and fast .

Again Duarte was the favourite. Atapuma 3rd and Chalapud 9th. I was 12th despite being tired from yesterday.
We had a 4 man break, with no great riders - as you would expect.
3 guys attacked before the last climb, they were:
Sousa (EFG)
Mendes (TNE)
Kiendys (CCC)
Everybody in the peloton was struggling to keep up with our pace. We had the advantage on everyone else.
I was also getting left behind, as well as the yellow jersey. Despite literally everyone struggling, the was NO split in the peloton.
Meanwhile - back at the front - Duarte had just overtaken Mendes to get into first. It looked like he would storm to victory. A bit behind, Chalapud was being his kind self and protecting me, however he had more energy than ME, as I was dead.
And it was Duarte! Atapuma came in 2nd with Navarro (COF) 3rd. Chalapud was 8th and I was 13th.
That's what I wanted to see! I was in yellow! I think I deserved it after yesterday! Now, can I keep it? With Fabio and Darwin in really strong form, I'll also need to go really hard!

The Profile
I want to attack on that last Cat.3 climb. Anyone who gets a nice gap there can definitely hold it on the downhill.
The Race
Two guys got into the breakaway, and yes, one of them was our boy Valencia. He joined by Kurek (CCC). A lot of riders tried attacks but got caught. Ultimately resulting in the gap for the actual escapees to go down.
Our boy did take the Cat. 2 climb, but as you can see the peloton was near.
Eventually though, a 4-man break got away. Raeymakers (TNN) chased for a bit but was caught by the peloton. As you can see we took the first Cat. 3 as well.
For mark 2, he was blocked by his Polish companion and only just won.
He actually managed to forget about #3, so Langlois (GQC) won it.
I attacked on the summit, and continued my work on the downhill.
Valencia was trying to catch Langlois, but was caught by the peloton right after that pic was snapped. At the same time, I stopped working, and lost hopes of getting away .
Chalapud was to be the first to sprint for us. Suarez was ahead of him to make the position.
Arango did really well with his leadout, but Duque was boxed in!
And Leo was so close to his first win of the season! What a shame! Ciolek took the win, while I came in the vital position 27th .
Another day in yellow!
Valencia was gaining on our friendly Russian in the mountains classification.
Well, duh...
Not exactly a close one!
So guys, the next stage is another nice one for Duque, and hopefully he can achieve the win he deserves. But until then...
