I am also following, just to notice!
I don't know why,but some stories gets huge boost with comments/followers, and story such as this, with so beautiful report style and some great SS's can't get 2+ comments per race.

Race Report : Grand Prix de Wallonie

i1272.photobucket.com/albums/y382/Axel_Choteau/A%20French%20Rising%20Hope/2013/Grand%20Prix%20de%20Wallonie/PCM0001_zpsee9fea5f.jpg

It was a weird race with a weird finish.

As I knew I was not the best to help at the end of the race, I decided to go in the breakaway.

i1272.photobucket.com/albums/y382/Axel_Choteau/A%20French%20Rising%20Hope/2013/Grand%20Prix%20de%20Wallonie/PCM0002_zps35cf8903.jpg

The pack took time before starting to chase but when they do, three teams were after us : Sky Procycling, Team Saxo - Tinkoff and Omega Pharma - Quick·Step Cycling Team.

i1272.photobucket.com/albums/y382/Axel_Choteau/A%20French%20Rising%20Hope/2013/Grand%20Prix%20de%20Wallonie/PCM0004_zpsa4acb63b.jpg

18 km to go:

We were not back in the pack that some riders already starting to attack.
Davide Malacarne tried to controle it by attacking to, he was followed by Kenny Elissonde.

i1272.photobucket.com/albums/y382/Axel_Choteau/A%20French%20Rising%20Hope/2013/Grand%20Prix%20de%20Wallonie/PCM0005_zpsa97d6aad.jpg

15 km to go:

We are not back in the pack yet and some leaders are attacking, Edvald Boasson Hagen was the main favorite today.

i1272.photobucket.com/albums/y382/Axel_Choteau/A%20French%20Rising%20Hope/2013/Grand%20Prix%20de%20Wallonie/PCM0006_zps773c8d59.jpg

Meanwhile at front, I was leaving the breakaway for a solo ride.
I did not went far but it was worth it.

i1272.photobucket.com/albums/y382/Axel_Choteau/A%20French%20Rising%20Hope/2013/Grand%20Prix%20de%20Wallonie/PCM0007_zpsd61a23fe.jpg

In the end, Boasson Hagen took the win. In the team we had 5 riders in the top 10 but none in the top 5. It's a shame Sad.

A 9th position for me is way better than what I expected, it's another top 10 for me this season.

The team ride well but after a whole season of racing, the organism is fighting to find some resources.

I've got 6 days of racing left, the last one in France is in GP d'Isbergues - Pas de Calais

See you Wink

Ian Butler
6-7-8-9-10 for Europcar? Pfft That should've been 1-2-3-4-5 Wink

Nice try from Mark there, though!

Race Report : GP d'Isbergues - Pas de Calais

i1272.photobucket.com/albums/y382/Axel_Choteau/A%20French%20Rising%20Hope/2013/GP%20d%20Isbergues%20-%20Pas%20de%20Calais/PCM0001_zps5523d1ba.jpg

The race today was very explosive and the final results are quite surprising.

To avoid the team making to may efforts, Jérôme Cousin went in the breakaway without working to make it last.

i1272.photobucket.com/albums/y382/Axel_Choteau/A%20French%20Rising%20Hope/2013/GP%20d%20Isbergues%20-%20Pas%20de%20Calais/PCM0002_zps8b30d7b8.jpg

The attitude of Jérôme really disturbed Winner Anacona (Lampre - Merida) who decided to do it alone.

i1272.photobucket.com/albums/y382/Axel_Choteau/A%20French%20Rising%20Hope/2013/GP%20d%20Isbergues%20-%20Pas%20de%20Calais/PCM0003_zpsbb2728a7.jpg

When the pack joined Jérôme and his two companion left from the breakaway, it simply stopped chasing the lonely rider. I decided to make them react so I attacked 50 km from the line.

i1272.photobucket.com/albums/y382/Axel_Choteau/A%20French%20Rising%20Hope/2013/GP%20d%20Isbergues%20-%20Pas%20de%20Calais/PCM0004_zpse45703e6.jpg

My acceleration created a total chaos in the pack, some decided to chase me some did not. In the end two groups were made, the first one with 26 riders including our sprinter, and the rest behind wondering if they had to chase or not.
As I was back in the main group with the attacker, I lead my team mates to the front of the group.

i1272.photobucket.com/albums/y382/Axel_Choteau/A%20French%20Rising%20Hope/2013/GP%20d%20Isbergues%20-%20Pas%20de%20Calais/PCM0005_zps6ac9d51a.jpg

When I was too tired, Steven relayed me and he launched the sprint for Bryan and Séb T..

i1272.photobucket.com/albums/y382/Axel_Choteau/A%20French%20Rising%20Hope/2013/GP%20d%20Isbergues%20-%20Pas%20de%20Calais/PCM0006_zps06cee044.jpg

Séb was very fast and he took the win, Bryan made a great 3rd position and Steven is 6th. I ended in the leading group taking the 23rd position.

As I said a funny ending for a flat stage.

I'm making a small break and I'm coming back for the Tour de l'Eurométropole after the World Championship where i'm not selected.

See you Wink

Cycleman123

Cyclean123: Not that weird but a flat stage ending with a group of 24 riders is quite unexpecting.

Ian Butler: Thanks Wink

Miguel98: thanks Wink

sutty68: Thanks Wink
