The final stage of Bayern- Rundfahrt
The route was fairly hilly, but considered flat. We disagreed seeing as only 5 sprinters would actually be able to finish in the bunch.
A shock revelation upon reaching the flat. Balciunas had been dropped from the pack. He would lose his 5th place overall for sure, none of his team even bothered to go back and help.
With no really good sprinters up at the front, the sprint was a really messy affair.
And amazingly Brouzes managed to start gaining on the top riders to pull off a solid 4th placing.

Boucles de L'Aulne
A single day race. We doubted we'd get anything again seeing as the top french teams had shown up with their good squads again. Why their good squads weren't racing in the pro tour we didnt know.
A break of 12 went, and was just started to be brought back when Chavanel attacked, both Levarlet and Gaudin countered, didnt quite manage to follow his wheel and swiftly got brought back.
So the break, increasing in size due to the attack from the bunch would contest the finish.

Do you have anyone who can contest the hilly TT in the Euskal? |

Drujon and Levarlet will be going to Luxembourg, as the 7km TT there won't have too much effect for Levarlets chances.
Belkov, Malacarne and possibly Tronet will be going to the Euskal. Belkov has the highest TT stat at 68, and should be able to keep in the top 20 over the mountains.
I've now got to the point in the career where the riders are starting to have plenty of stat points going up from training, which all helps. Levarlet and Belkov are now 68 averages, i know it doesnt seem much, but the additional point here and there really does help.

Skoda - Tour de Luxembourg
The first stage run today is a ITT over 7km. Which in game relates to 4.7km. A hilly TT should produce an ok time for Gaudin, and should allow Levarlet to minimise losses.
The riders doing this tour are mainly the sprinters/worse riders. Levarlet has just Gaudin for back up.
Gaudin was the best TTist out there for us, and he managed to clock in a respectable 11th place.

Stage 2 of the Skoda tour
Chainel is our man for the long break today, if nothing else, it will ensure the other teams will chase down the break!
He went off on the downhill and got a minutes gap easy peasy, and was later joined by some other riders.
We didn't bother with going for points on climbs or anything, this tour we are getting more serious about the GC placings for the points.
Because there has been a lot of talk about him, I'd like to show that Mads Kaggestad does, very very occasionally, do something.
Here he is seen slowing down the pace of the peloton by 2kph, which helped the break get a bigger gap
The break was brought back, and the front group got slowly decimated until we had just Levarlet, Gaudin and Drujon in there.
With the sprint being a weird downhill affair, it would be the case of whoever is at the front will probably win, and so it was, with some of the pro tour teams taking the top 10 placings, and Wiesenhof taking the rest it seemed.

I play with Wisenhof, and that reflects badly on you, Giling should not be inside of the top 25 in any mass-sprint, baring a crash being involved |

You quite obviously don't play on hard then do you? Ever heard of a lead out man? Ever heard of +5 daily form? Ever played this game? If you did im sure you WOULD realise that at times the game does mysterious things. Plus im getting a bit miffed with you telling me that i'm doing badly. How about you, or anyone else for that matter, try playing with one of the smallest, worst starting teams in the Spain DB and try and get promoted in the first year? Oh wait, no you won't try that, you tried it with Wiesenhof, a near certain promotion for you. Wow, so hard. Now, unless you have something productive to say, please shut up, or put up.

Stage one of the Euskal Biz.
Straight into some serious climbing, and probably a shattering experience for the whole team.
Unbelievably, this is my climbing squad with the highest mountain stat at 69, and the highest hill stat at 68 we as a team feel unbeatable. Not.
Malacarne went in the first break of 10 and took a few 2nd places here and there at the sprint points. He was caught at the foot of the climb.
Belkov had already crashed once during the race and after a muddled chase back into the bunch felt rubbish. He blew going up the climb, as the attacks from the favourites flew in.
The lead group would contest the win, with Belkov coming in well down, and probably now completely out of points at all.

Stage 3 of the Skoda - Luxembourg tour
A very uneventful looking stage with a nice sprint at the finish. Brilliant territory for Drujon to showcase his talent.
With 3km to go, he is sat on the Bouygues led train behind continental tour leader Wesemann. With 2km to go he starts moving up, and by a few hundred metres left he is sprinting into a brilliant 2nd place.

Your playing great, I was joking, but still I've had Giling be the lead-out man for Pollack, and them getting (because of a crash) around a 10-second lead on the pack when the sprint started, Pollack won, but Giling, who was +4, and was sprinting all the way, was caught and finished 18th (with a crash), plus, to add to it, that was around 3 months ago, when I used to play on normal (I play on hard now). |

Nice second spot - you're doing great with this team, nice to see people pick a team that isn't that great, and do something that is with them

5th again, agritubel has climbed over barloworld into 2nd, and im not too far off 4th place. Im about 500 points away from promotion zone still. So im really hoping that these stage races will increase someones experience level so they get their stat increase and start getting results. Fast.

Stage 2 of Euskal - Bizikleta
I don't think we should lie as a team, but we really weren't thinking we could pull anything back after stage one's muck up.
So off we went on the breakaway. Picking up a few more points again here and there.
On the Penultimate climb, Sevilla attacked with a few other favourites, but was the only one to get a gap.
The gap wouldn't last however, as on the last climb many of the favourites attacked right past. Brutt was the strongest and had a gap over the 2nd group on the road.
He couldn't hold it to the line however, but still managed a good ride for Tinkoff.
Belkov bonked again before the line, further ruining his chances of a top 40 GC place.

5 Mikel Astarloza EUSKALTEL - EUSKADI 16
Skoda - Luxembourg tour stage 4
A hilly stage with a rolling finale which had Levarlet pipped as a favourite, but he ruined his chances with a miss timed attack rather than just sprinting, so Drujon managed to keep the team placings in the top 20 for the stage.

Euskal - Bizi Stage 3
An ITT today should see the results table changing a little bit. Hopefully the team can do something today.
The team started ripping it up, with some fast times being set by Malacarne early on.
Our French riders were having a field day, often finishing having gained 30 seconds on every rider in front of them.
After our last rider to go, Belkov, the team was looking like this: But there was still 40+ riders to go yet.
However, the team had pulled something special out of the bag, and we narrowly missed out on the top 5 finish.

Last stage of the Skoda tour
Another hilly stage.
Wesemann and Mazzanti got away (Surprise surprise..)
With 3km to go, Wesemann was leading Mazzanti out.
Mazzanti made his move with 1km to go, and took the win easy.
The pace was apparantly 30+ seconds behind, and apparantly the 4 separate groups behind the pack were part of it, thereby denying for the 2nd time in the same tour my 3 best placed riders from moving into the top 10.
